Is it time to sack Wenger?

Bumping this thread as i believe, if we lose another 2 PL games in a row. questions need to be asked about wenger.

If we dont finish in the top 4 then wenger should go.

If you sack your manager each time you don't finish in the top four then no one else will take the job.

No, you should sack the manager when he's lost the plot, is clearly incapable of learning from his past mistakes, makes painful mistakes a 3 year old child wouldn't make and has slowly dismantled the squad from one of if not the best in the world to pretty god damned rubbish(in terms of top 4 quality).

This is why I wanted Wenger gone 4-5 years ago, his reign of terror had begun, when someone drops Gilberto(still the best DM in the business up till 2 years ago) for Denilson.......... you should send the manager to check he hasn't had a stroke. When you start letting Pires and Reyes go, and drop them for a champs league final to start then keep Hleb on the pitch....

Walcott, fine people thought he was good, years ago it was obvious he was dog****, so did we drop him, no, 60k a week new contract.... while being incapable of doing the job he's asked to do.

Diaby, another year, another 3 mil down the drain on a player who is no where near good enough when fit..... and he's never fit, it goes on and on.

The squad we had 6 years ago was unbelievable, every single player just about was worthy of a team in the top 4, from first team to the second backup. Now, about 3 members of the first team deserve to be at a top 4 squad. RVP, Wilshire, Verm, and we've turned two of those into sicknotes through horrific handling of their injuries...... something again we haven't changed our stance on for a decade now.

Wilshire screwed his ankle at the END OF LAST SEASON, and like so many other players our complex plan of treatment involved, ignoring it till preseason, playing Wilshire in just about every game till he fractured his ankle, even then it took a month and a relapse to really decide to treat it as it should have been done 6 months earlier.

Top 4 has NOTHING to do with it, couldn't give a monkeys about it, the football we're playing compared to even 3 years ago is night and day, the squad quality is laughable, the players he's buying are laughably bad for the most part, he's abandoned EVERYTHING that made Arsenal successful in his first 7-8 years with Arsenal, every last thing. 4-4-2, gone, all out attack, gone, solid defence, gone, getting rid of good players to bring in better players, gone, not putting up with dross or stupid wage demands, gone.

While Arsenal should sack Wenger, Jonny is the classic Arsenal fan...

"we've lost 3 games against decent teams.... we're the worst, fire Wenger"

"We've won 8 out of 12 games, against largely woeful league team's or horrifically poor european teams........ we shouldn't fire Wenger, he's completely turned it around"

"we've lost 3 games again, burn him at the stake"

"we beat Port vale in the worthless cup, erect a Wenger statue and masturbate on it"

etc, etc.

The quality of squad, our play has deteriorated SO badly based off dozens of awful decisions is the main reason to get rid of him. His inability to change an on going game and almost universally wrong substitution decisions are just a part of why he should go.

People shouldn't forget that for everyone saying the Emirates harmed us, we went from spending around 60-65mil a year in wages at Highbury, to 115mil a year last year at the Emirates(somewhere around that) when at 65mil we were winning titles(spending significantly less than Utd and significantly more than the rest of the league basically), while at 115mil we're spending more than everyone but Utd, City and Chelsea, and performing worse than teams spending less...... but while we're spent dramatically more we've gotten worse, Spurs are spending more and got better, City are spending more and getting better, Arsenal are spending more and getting worse.

To say we're worse off financially at the emirates because of the debt is flat out wrong, we've had more to spend in the transfer market, and spending 60-70% more on wages.... on much much worse players.
 
DM i aint no classic arsenal fan. i wanted wenger out long ago. 3-4 seasons ago like u but beginning of this season my expectations of this team fell swifty and i expect us to finish in top 4 but now we wont and therefore wenger needs to be questioned.

You lot laughed at me when i made a thread asking wenger to be sacked and god knows why the mods closed it.

end of the day DM. I WANTED WENGER OUT SAME TIME AS U!!

Another loss for arsenal and Wenger needs to be questioned weather he is fit for the job. everyone with half a brain knew the problems and issues way before the season started yet wenger turns a blind eye and waits till the bitter last minute before he realizes what MANY people have seen before:

Lets start of with gallas. Gallas wasn't fit for a captain right from the get go and when he sulked like a child back in feb against bham, every arsenal fan and most neutral fans can see that gallas wasn't fit to lead our team

Now lets discuss the squad itself. getting rid of flamini and hleb without replacing them last summer was a big concern. not only did we need to replace these two players, we ALSO had to add more for the depth in the squad because lets be honest. arsenal's first team last season where a match for united and chelsea but because injuries/suspensions happen, you need strength in depth.

Now back to a particular player we got rid of, GILBERTO. towards the end of last season, he showed why he is a great DM player and a GREAT leader for arsenal. He has showed great leadership, determination and balls throughout his career at arsenal but because his not a kid anymore, wenger had to sell him.

Right at the start of last season, people where convince that gilberto will be the new captain of arsenal. so what did wenger did instead? hand it over to a player who hasn't proven himself to be a leader and a player who was about to start his second season with arsenal.

You see, These are why arsenal are where they are at at the moment and rightly slow. all because of Wenger turning a blind eye in the above obvious issues/problems spamming since last season.

imo he really needs to go before he turns arsenal into a team no better then the likes of blackburn, everton etc(a mid table team) no desrespects to the teams i just mentioned but from being unbeatable to a team that has now lost 5 games before christmas and the SHAMBOLIC 4:4 draw, wenger needs to go before its too late.

my predictions nearly 4 years ago are coming true. we are becoming or have become an average side.

So DM, do some research before critising me as a typical arsenal fan. i bet back then u was still backing wenger. i wasnt

jonneymendoza, this season alone you have wanted Wenger out AND said that Wenger is amazing, and back to his best for turning the club around. Do you change your underwear as much as you change your mind?

I really think it would be best for all, if you started to have a think about what you post, before you do so.

The reason why i changed my mind is because before i was expecting arsenal to compete for trophies and win one two in the last 6 years but we have not and that is why i wanted wenger out.

Now at the beginning of the season i noted that my expectations have lowered and not expecting arsenal to win a trophy at all but expect them to at least finish in the top 4. its looking doubful.

Its easy to nip pick posts of mine without the full picture innit.
