Is it time to wake the bike up yet?

Have you considered surrounding yourself with better quality people?

I didn't say my friends are like that, it's more of their friends that I met and heard what they were saying.

The people that I stay in contact don't have families yet, some are engaged. But that's about it, better to keep the friends circle small. :)

That's Stevenage for ya ;)

I only know few examples from stotfold, baldock and little villages around that area. There's a couple from stevo, but they're together and not yet married even though their kid is few years old now. But I did hear the statistics, pretty shocking tbh.

I was brought up in Stotfold :)
Yeah, you only have to go to Stevenage town centre on a weekday and you get the gist :p

Today its perfect for a bike, I can hear bikes hooning down the A/B roads since the morning. :D Not complaining, heard at least 1 or 2 V4's.

There's an Aprilia V4 that lives within a mile or 2 of me, during the summer evenings I hear it leaving and coming back, it's definitely got an Austin racing can on it, you can hear it miles away :D

The proper bike was woken up today. So nice to get back on, and have a quick shifter and powerzzz again. Also a good opportunity to try out new visors for the new helmet. The picture doesn't quite do it justice, but I'm leaning back towards the silver.

Incredible just how much interior firmness my old identical GT-Air has lost over four years. It felt absolutely fine, in an old slippers sort of way. The new one, same size, is far more snug and taught.

My helmet is getting pretty slack too... lol

I've done 45k+ miles in it now through all weathers and -2 to +35 degrees, I really fancy a new helmet in the next 12 months.

I've got the clear and dark smoke for my NXR, fancy a mirrored one and the photochromatic one but that's over £200 on visors

Took mine out yesterday to get a new shock and forks revamped. Whilst it was warm, it was also very wet and muddy so couldn't really do much. It was nice to be out on it and I'm looking forward to a couple of weeks time when I'll be out properly.

How do you find the dark one compard to the mirror one? I got the mirror one as the petroleum one looked a bit too flashy and wasn't sure how german cops would like it

I prefer the mirrored silver out of all of them, followed by the iridium one, for visibility. In hindsight, the rainbow of the iridium is a little too garish for me, although it does look quite nice contrasted against the black of the helmet. I've ridden at night with the silver one, and it is fine under street lights and workable using just the headlight - you wouldn't want to be doing serious speed though... The black visor would be too dark at night for sure.
