ISIL, ISIS, Daesh discussion thread.

Well lets be honest here, lets take Libya as the example of when you should just let the ***** run the country and ignore it, instead there are now hundreds of *****s and no rule of law (regardless of how harsh it might have been).

So to advocate for Syria's government to fall, is to advocate the same thing that happened in Libya.

All of these "nation states" are barely held together tribes that all hate each other, and especially if they aren't the right kind of religious belief, so no... these rebels do not want a progressive nation at all, they want to benefit their tribe and that's it. They should all be stopped to preserve some level of sanity in the region.

How do you think the 'free' western world got to where it is? Did it just allow oppressive regimes to continue to dictate them? As a Scotsman you amaze me how you are so accepting of that. Mind you, when it's not in our own back yard, who cares right? I'm alright Jack!

Rofl at resident shills. Unsurprisingly you ignored the fact that RT didn't even bother to report the bombing of the hospital in Allepo (mentioned repeatedly a while back).

Ladies, you can't have it both ways.

The country is so broken and without any real leadership/government, it would be folly to even suggest that Assad can legitimately claim Presidency and then even go on to request Russian intervention. He should have stepped down years ago.

The point malevolence makes is moot.

Pointing out the obvious here, it doesn't matter who we're allies with, it would be the same either way. It simply happens to be Saudi because of the mutual relations built predominantly on oil trade.

So what?
