I see that but, i do think Israel should pull back from the constant bombing.

If they had good intel, would they really need to pummel Gaza so much?

Maybe its time to move in on foot now.

You're also assuming Hamas will let Palestinians leave freely. I think part of the reason Israel are weary of moving forward with a ground invasion so quickly is because of the number of Palestinians that are effectively being held hostage by Hamas to use as human shields.

It makes great propaganda for Hamas when they can claim Israel are storming buildings and executing anyone found inside.

Not really sure why they need to cut off water tbh. That's well into the realms of actions I don't personally support. You can't get more indiscriminate than that imo. Why is that needed if they are going in on a ground assault?

Im confused how the whe services thing works there. Does gaza have it's own water supply?

Or are they provided water by Israel for a fee/free? Same with electricity. Who provides them fuel? Or have Israel just cut off supply routes?

The water situation is complicated, there are limited natural freshwater supplies most of which Israel can control, desalination provides a limited amount but relies on power and can't handle the amounts required on solar alone. A lot of drinking water comes in bottled from Israel or Egypt.

If its owned by Israel, why do they even have to provide anything? Obviously it's the right thing to do.

But do they NEED to?

You answered your own question. Personally I think cutting off food power and water falls under indiscriminate.

If I build a wall around your home, stop you leaving and stop any food, fuel or water reaching you is that OK?

I'm not saying it's 'ok' I'm just curious to how it works. People being curious doesn't mean they automatically agree with anything.

I'm asking if they have any legal requirement etc to provide services? I. E what happens if they decide to just never supply gaza ever again? Do they have to do it?

I just don't quite understand the situation I suppose.

What is stopping them just never supplying gaza with anything ever again, if we ignore all the morale/ethical reasons to do so?

I've not, being the right thing to do. Doesn't mean it HAS to be done.

But then give you the odd free food and water parcel, does that make me the good guy?

What Hamas has done is despicable and cannot ever be condoned. There is part of me that thinks any grown ass adult who voted for them are in no position to cry foul at what Isreal is doing.

But then you remember the sheer disrespect, hatred and contempt both sides have for each other and you realise they will never have peace because neither side has any human empathy for the other.

Because it helps fuel the cycle of hatred so each successive generation keeps the violence going.

at this stage it doesn't even matter anymore whether they killed babies or not, like Israel's PM said - every Hamas member is a dead man walking who will soon be dead, period

Thank you for the link. I'll let you know when I have actually found what you are referring to.
