I listened to a Red Crescent official also say that 4-5 members of its team today were killed when their vehicle which was clearly marked with Red Crescent identifiers and their positions were given to the IDF was hit.

There are almost never "good" sides in a war or conflict, mankind has shown repeatedly that both sides in wars commit atrocities. If only the atrocities of one side are reported on, its propaganda, thats all, and both sides do that same propaganda. Wars are horrible and some of the people who fight them do horrible, terrible, things during them sometimes. The idea of good guys, exclusively full of honour and valour and principles against bad guys, exclusively full of evil, no moral, sadists is a concept found in childrens playgrounds. The common reality in wars is that some people do terrible deeds in the name of their cause/religion/flag/nation, no matter the uniform they are wearing.

Such a shame Lebanon has gone backwards. I was there around 2002 I think and there was real hope. The main street area had been completely rebuilt, there was an art installation of photographs all the way down it of what it looked before the war, what it looked like at its worst. They'd done an amazing job of getting it back to how it had been. You could see why it was called the Paris of the East. The food was incredible and the people welcoming.

Oh and the girls were stunning. We had a wrap party on the last day and went clubbing. I was getting very friendly with a local girl and tried to talk her into coming back to my hotel. She said her brothers would cut my balls off if they found out :cry: :cry:

No one has been minimizing anything. It is just a case of waiting for things to be properly confirmed. Preferably by trusted journalists and not politicians who could have political bias either way. I've no doubt children and likely babies have been killed. If babies have actually been beheaded I would be shocked but sadly not surprised, we've seen some shocking things over the last few years from that area of the world. And lets not forget we have people in out own country and all over the world that sexually violate children of that age for kicks. Humans can be vile creatures.

Absolutely, yet all we hear on the news is how Israel are the victims, both sides are victims, both sides are hurting and atrocities are being committed throughout. Hamas have murdered innocent people and Israel seem to think its fine to blow buildings up with civilians in them just to possibly catch a few of the perpetrators, its like having aircraft in the UK bombing houses in a village somewhere on the off chance of catching someone who committed a murder and had gone into hiding! Yet here we are with talks on how we should be showing the Israeli flag on the side of Wembley and on 10 Downing Street! Its incredible the amount of propaganda brainwashing that goes on across all sides and the fact the UK is getting worse and worse for it, trying to influence peoples views throughout on everything.

What is apparent is people are now fed up with talk of caliphates and being blown up or killed in medieval ways for wanting to live in the twenty first century.

If Hamas were wiped out it would be no loss to the world, except they won't be. Like bed bugs they are here to stay.

However it is no excuse that because one side wants to wipe your race of the planet you should do the same to them.

There will be a short hot action and then probably corridors set up for people to leave or for food and water to go in. However in this instance the fault is nearly all on Hamas.

Quite right, there were reported cases of Allied troops sexually abusing children (as well as rapes of adult women) during WW2. As I say, both sides in wars commit atrocities, its just propaganda which makes out that only the enemy does it. You're absolutely right Humans can be vile creatures and that vileness is not limited to only specific uniforms and flags.

It is never wrong to ask for clarification on a story. Our country, along with our allies, contributed to killing a million Iraqis based on lies.

I've also questioned the story that the German woman was alive. It's a story being reposted around. The "evidence" is her bank card was used in Gaza, and someone said shes alive with a severe head wound.

There seems to be an awakening on the left as both Jews and non-Jews are discovering that some of them aren't working for the same cause.

I'm no apologist for Israel but what Hamas did was always going to lead to this and they knew that and they did it anyway. They don't give a **** about Palestinians in Gaza, they only care about irradicating Israel. They are religious and political extremists little better than ISIS. Much like ISIS were happy to have the people they claim to represent die when they hide amongst them using them as human shields.

If you are expecting countries to not support Israel after Hamas purposefully targeted and murdered civilians including children and kidnapped civilians then you are dreaming. That would be like people not supporting the US after 911.
