Yes, and thought "wow, arrogant and out of touch".

I get they want to be neutral, but there is such a thing as not reading public opinion. Public opinion, afterall, is the basis of law. What the masses say, goes, not what the dictionary says.
The BBC shouldn't just be regurgitating verbatim the government line especially when the definition of terrorism is so vaguely defined in our statute book. For instance the people cutting down ULEZ cameras technically apply for the definition.

Yep, you would think the fact that 1000s of innocent people are still going to die would be more news worthy than whether the bbc should be calling Hamas terrorists or not but apparently it is n't.
The murder of innocents is selectively a heinous act depending on which side did the murder.

Thats not how it works either. Sorry the BBC dont share your `opinion` and fake rage, but they are following the line of neutrality. Its why everyone doesnt like them, because they do it well

Catchup time! Now they will mention it every three sentences.
They are happy to report when other people label them as that. It's pretty simple. Try reading about it.

What Hamas did at the weekend alone should identify them as a terrorist organisation.
They are. The point is that it's not for the BBC to call them that. They will state that they caused atrocities, etc. but they do not judge, because... that's not unbiased reporting - that's opinion.
It may be common and 'obvious' opinion, but it's still biased, albeit a popular bias.

I'd much rather just have the facts.

I do think that it's somewhat disingenuous as the BBC is far more biased and opinionated in other areas, and they should apply the same rules there, but at least this is a start.

What do you think the law is other than public opinion written down? There is no absolute right and wrong. The public define the rules. That's why it's so stupid of the BBC to play semantics when the bulk of the public are outraged. It would have been so simple to avoid this problem, but now there is yet another scandal at the BBC.
Anyway, not that it matters.

How was this calculated ? Just curious.

The only time the 'bulk' of the public is asked, is during elections and referendum, and even then turnout it typically poor.

I would suggest that few people, if anyone, know what the bulk of the public actually think (or even care about).

So it's public opinion to let people steal constantly from the treasury without consequence?

Strangely enough, they chose to stick to their journalistic principles rather than avoid a controversy. What a world eh.

What Hamas needs to do is push all the hostages back across the border with an escorts. Perhaps that may gain a concession on supplies and power.

That's a lot of ordenance

MK-84 IIRC - you'd need about 500 of them if the intention was to literally turn Gaza into tent city.

EDIT: Did the maths wrong, ~150 of them would kill everyone above ground in Gaza, about 500 to raze everything to the ground.

The context of that photo is there was a stall set up on an Israeli high street with signs that "over 18's only" but a group of kids ran up and grabbed the guns when the proprietor wasn't looking. The adults in the photo were wrestling the guns out of the kids hands just as someone took the photo.

Prove me wrong.

That isn’t the context based on what we can see and you’ve completely ignored the context of the other photo involved.

Your delusion is incredible tbh.
