Are you suggesting that Isriel could not have flattened the entire Gaza strip before they were attacked today? There's a first time for everything, I guess. But no, I don't think anybody is expecting Israeli restraint.
A few minutes viewing the videos on X of the civilian casualties of the Hamas attack and the cheering crowds of a kidnapped, clearly raped young Israeli woman might sway your position.
20 Police Officers are said to have been Killed in the Sderot Police Station this morning when it was Stormed by Hamas Terrorists; a Majority of the Officers are said to have been Unarmed and on Break when they were Gunned Down.
Not quite the same but that does remind me of the Usman Khan case who stabbed to death Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones on London bridge who worked for Cambridge university in support of people like Khan only later to be killed by the people they were trying to help.[

Really? Is there any ******* need for that?Your level of malevolence and your level of revisionism smacks of a certain ancestory too @Craterloads .
In this case, both sides are bad, neither are worth cheeringI have no idea who’s right or wrong.
Uhm, they did. Go read up on Camp David with Bill Clinton and Oslo Peace Accords. It was offered and not accepted. Both sides are fanatics. The eye for an eye just keeps going. The blood bath about to unfold will just make another generation with absolute hate for Israel and so the cycle continues.
Israel had the power in my opinion to halt this cycle years ago by making a fair carve up of territory so that Palestine could prosper. They chose instead to exert control over Palestine like a strangle hold so this is what happens, like cornering a rat.
Obviously wasn't a generous enough offer then.Uhm, they did. Go read up on Camp David with Bill Clinton and Oslo Peace Accords. It was offered and not accepted.
Imagine how much further they would have been along if they had abided by the terms initially agreed upon.
After that, the Israelis just accepted a two state solution and peace were not going to happen and moved on.
Unfortunately many people from the west take for granted or do not comprehend the safety nets good men have managed to create through centuries of strife. Not quite the same but that does remind me of the Usman Khan case who stabbed to death Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones on London bridge who worked for Cambridge university in support of people like Khan only later to be killed by the people they were trying to help.
Looks like the spearhead of the peace process right there.
You might want to depart now!
The point was, take away religion and there will just be other reasons for regions to existing in a state of perpetual war.
And in any case, eradicating religion is completely unrealistic, isn't it?
Are you suggesting that not wiping the Palestinians off the map (before today) is evidence of Israel "showing restraint"?Are you suggesting that Isriel could not have flattened the entire Gaza strip before they were attacked today?
Nothing to do with religion, I'm not religious.
Just as I support Ukraine, Khalisthan, Kashmir, Uyghur I will support Palestine.
Same place every other terrorist organisation does...
Yeah because Russia invading Ukraine and UK invading Iraq was all about religion
Most religions do generally more good than bad and no the wokism religion you're part of is not one of them.
UK government........................... ???
Unfortunately many people from the west take for granted or do not comprehend the safety nets good men have managed to create through centuries of strife.
They absolutely do. Why don't you join your local parish for a few months? No clearly they are political wars. Though politics is sadly moving into the realm of being almost religious, certainly cultish.
No they don't and they most certainly don't when it comes to that area of the world.
For some groups anything short of Israel's complete oblivion is never going to be satisfactory.Obviously wasn't a generous enough offer then.
