But not when it involves starving civilians and cutting them off from water. I have a bad feeling about this Chewie.

They shouldn't be giving unconditional support regardless given some of the things Israel has done.

Politically it's easy enough to spin a narrative that supports cutting off water and other supplies even if it leads to further civilian deaths.

I think they are just making a statement that they don't want anyone else to join in. They have this stuff planned well in advance and I don't think they really care that much about either side, rather they just don't want it to escalate.

Ye as said earlier In this thread they need to think of the bigger picture.

Plus it was no shock to see what I said earlier appeared on the BBC live feed

These air strikes are only going to kill more hostages.

Israel are probably in the state of just bring it on at this rate, diplomacy has failed time and time again, and the people of Gaza sealed this inevitability by electing Hamas. The situation for the people in Gaza hasn't improved, and the instability of security only benefits the big players spuring them on from the shadows.

All talk. Russia has nothing to get involved with, Iran is too busy supplying Russia and Israel is very much up for a fight, backed by the US.

I wouldn't expect many of the hostages to come out of this alive tbh. They are being kept amongst the terrorists, and Israel intends to wipe the terrorists out.

There might be some hope, but I doubt Israel is in the mood to release prisoners at the moment...

'Qatari mediators have held urgent calls with Hamas officials in an attempt to negotiate the release of Israeli women and children held captive in the Gaza Strip, according to reports.

The news agency Reuters, quoting unnamed sources, said Hamas officials wanted the release of 36 Palestinian women and children in exchange for the kidnapped Israelis.

The unnamed sources told Reuters that the talks had been "positive" but there had been no signs of a breakthrough at this stage.

"There has been no agreement on logistics or a mechanism for the release," the source said.

As we reported earlier, Egyptian officials have also been in contact with Hamas in an attempt to prevent further escalation in the fighting...'

Israel have mental fire power over Gaza they can bomb it to high hell stop food and water like that and have done same in past.

USA does not need to get involved stay out of arming. What they should be saying is about the protection of innocent civilians.
