The crisis actors are already out in force today. Lots of pictures of distraught men carrying children caked in dust and blood but no actual injuries. As par for the course

Just look up in the Mail for the photos. Won't post here because posting Mail links seems to trigger the left here

The Mail wouldn't be posting pictures of children will limbs torn off would they?

Wait what? Gratitude for giving them basic essentials to live whilst also restricting what goes in/out by pretty much creating a ghetto.

Some warped thinking there.
Gaza has a border with Egypt.

Maybe the Palestinians should have voted for leadership that imports food and water instead of rockets?

They voted for these priorities. Food and water wasn't that important. Rockets and othe means of of killing Jews was / is the top priority.

They voted 18 years ago and haven't had a choice since.

Egypt doesn't let in any food or goods I thought?
They also don't want a terrorist regime on their borders. They know what the material is used for...building tunnels, rockets and other weapons of war or maybe a residential block or school to house Hamas weapons of terror.

Funnily enough, I do not see anyone protesting about that.

Was that their manifesto? "Vote for us and we'll wipe out Israel"?

Support for a Peace Agreement with Israel: 79.5% in support; 15.5% in opposition

Should Hamas change its policies regarding Israel: Yes – 75.2%; No – 24.8%

Under Hamas corruption will decrease: Yes – 78.1%; No – 21.9%

Under Hamas internal security will improve: Yes – 67.8%; No – 32.2%

Hamas government priorities: 1) Combatting corruption; 2) Ending security chaos; 3) Solving poverty/unemploymentSupport for

Hamas' impact on the national interest: Positive – 66.7&; Negative - 28.5%

Media are quick to capitalise on the suffering of others, this conflict has zero impact on the UK, and certainly no impact on me or my family but it makes good headlines.

Hasn't this conflict between Palestine and Israel been going on for decades already, so what's new?
There's no such thing as a dumb questi.............nevermind.

You have to be totally insular to think it does not affect us.

It’s pretty much impossible to have moderates in Gaza.

Fill Gaza with Jews and offer them the same treatment of torture, murder, kidnappings, starvation and all the other barbaric things Israel has done to them and I can guarantee them Jews would behave not much different to the current Gazans.

Hamas / Gaza is a natural outcome to the brutal reality they were born into.

Why were Hamas even on the ballot? Of course long suffering Palestinian people would want to give a big middle finger to the Israeli government, it's a bit like Brexit in that regard.

Because the civilians are not the ones doing the killing and it is barbaric to target civilians no matter what.
A lot of the men dancing around the naked corpse of the young girl shouting allah akbar weren't armed, so I'm assuming civilians...
Regardless, I don't think Israel will care much either way, the blooodlust is up.

A pity, I want the cycle of violence to end. Hotheads on both sides are not helping the situation.
