It's snowing

More and more snow for us. Schools were closed, buses stopped at 8pm. Today we left a couple of hours early from work due to the weather. Very rare for this to happen, we're expecting up to another 40cm over night.

I cleared some snow from the roof before taking this pic.

Another reason why I would love to one day move to Canada :) Sunny Summers, Snowy Winters :D

None in North London at the moment. I had fun last week with the snow we had but I'm hoping it holds off now. Have a flight this weekend from Heathrow and another one two weeks after, also from Heathrow. Be gutted if it got cancelled due to snow.

main roads are clear again in the Croydon area. Pavements and side roads are treacherous in places though. So much so that i put my football boots on to walk down the hill last night in an attempt to get some king of grip. Worked too.

Can someone let me know what the road between carlisle and Newcastle is like at the moment? Need to go there on Friday morning

Snowfall is now non-existant up here in Halifax, North East. No snowfall for the past 3 days, but temperature outside is hovering at -1, so very cold. Roads are clear like a summers day.
Strange, I heard there's going to be some good amount of snowfall tommorrow, not sure how true that is.

Heh, strangely enough it doesn't feel that cold. It would feel a lot colder in the UK at -7 odd. We've had a lot of snow though, it is a little bit of a pain at the moment whilst the snowploughs catchup.

Yes, yesterday I was confused, the temperatures were reporting -5 to -8 in my area yesterday, and the temperature on the day was reporting around -7, but when I went to uni it never felt that cold, infact, the other day it was only 1 to 0 and It was FREEEEZING!!

I'm enjoying an unpaid day off today due to yesterdays snow in Glasgow. Can't really afford to take time off after doing the Christmas shopping but the closest operating bus stop this morning was a 2 mile walk away :/

-9 on the car thermometer this morning. Going for its MOT today and the screen wash had frozen (topped it up a few times with pure screenwash too).

Didn't feel too cold. I reckon that once the air gets dry it doesn't feel too bad if there's no wind.
