I'm donating £50 on monday. Going casino tomorrow. Everything that I make is for this beautiful little girl. Last night was over £500. Tonight will be for Bethany: I sincerely hope I can use my skills to benefit a truly deserving cause. If not, I shall find whatever I can. She deserves a long and happy life.

Sentimentality is not my forte but I come close to tears every time I read these threads.

I truly hope we can all make a difference.

So nice to see this , thank you

Skywalker - Just knocked this up in Word - It will be going up on all 4 wholetime fire stations noticeboards in Central Scotland next week:-

Does that look ok to you?. I'm just not sure if I've worded it properly or not?.

My email is in my trust, get in touch if you want to chat, I'm more than glad to help out on this m8.

Sent you an email buddy , let me know if you got it

Not totally sure on my hourly rate yet but it should be around £250

My god thats so nice of you

The running total is now £2656.66.

Thank you once again Gilly with out you this would not have been possible I dont think , I sent you an email the other day , I have added you to msn and even tried getting your phone number but you are one very hard to get hold of man , Can you please try and see if you can find the email I sent to the msn address you listed as your paypal one please

Will the government try to steal some of the money through tax?

What if its transfered into Beths bank account ?

This is great guys. Well done to everyone that contributed.

The other half has never really understood my need to spend so much time browsing these forums, until she read the threads by skywalker and the response from the members of ocuk.

I will enquire about the tax tomorrow at work.

I have dealt with charitable donations from companies, not individuals.

I'll get back.

Although the companies seem to have no problems what so ever.

I would certainly think it would be fine.

I only found this forum on Wednesday but have read the threads.

I'm sorry its not much compared to some; currently a student and don't have any income as of right now, given what I can.

Great job everyone, fantastic total!

I have just requested a bank transfer set up from BOS online banking. It say's it has been sent for refferal. I guess you need to accept the request. Once this has been accepted I'll transfer some cash over.

I had this with Halifax, basically the bank just need to confirm that the account exists or something and it'll be added into your transfer list and you can then send money to it. :)

The response to this thread is truly amazing, I've put it on another forum a I frequent, and have told a few people I know about it because Bethany is such a deserving cause. Whilst I'm not sure if any will donate, it is raising the awareness. :)

yeah I thought it must be something like that. as soon as it has been confirmed, the cash will be transfered. the way I look at it if i can use the cash that I would only spend on something I can do without like a few pints it is well worth it to help somebody out.

I hope as many people can give as possible. Running total update would be good :)
