I don't recall the range being mentioned in the Fully Charged video, anyone know what it should be?
Impressive!WLTP puts it at 298 miles, so realistic figure is about 250 +/- 10 miles. More than enough for anyone that isn't a sales rep, or likes to drive more than 250 miles without stopping for some weird reason
Impressive!
It's not that impressive considering it has a 90kwh battery, the efficiency is worse than anything on the market currently including the much bigger and heavier Model X. Nothing has yet to come close to the Ionic which is the clear efficiency king currently.
Still a nice car though and 250 miles is ultimately a good range and more than most will need.
Easily done, the naming is a bit confusing.
E-pace says electric more than i-pace.
I understand why Jaguar did it (E-type, F-type etc) but still weird.
Also six USB plugs (great), five 12v sockets (what? Why so many, especially with so many USB sockets!) yet no 110v or 230v socket, far more useful than five 12 volt sockets especially as the car is essentially one huge battery.
You aren't going to get a 395bhp, 4WD Jaguar car with that spec that will do 0-60 in 4.5 secs for £35k. F-Pace Prestige 300PS is £45k with 0-60 in 5.7s, and I doubt the spec has the tech etc that the I-Pace has.
There will be a premium, but it's not that much.
Sadly, the only EV currently doing this is Nissan's eNV-200. And only in Japan.
Adding a DC-DC converter and an inverter is too much of a faff, I guess, unless there's a demonstrable market for it.
