Three years ago I would have been livid, but you get accustomed to Wenger coming up short in the window. Squillachi returning to fitness (and being sent of minutes later) and Vermaelen returning in a month or so are Wenger's ideas of new signings.

The ONLY reason's that Carroll is costing us SO much money is cos:

1. He is English
2. Clubs no we are getting loads from the Torres deal & are holding us to ransom so we can get another striker
