Sky Sports' Guillem Balague says on Twitter that the deal to take Fernando Torres to Chelsea is done pending his medical. The fee is reported to be £50million.

The odds have just change from 1/10 to 1/7....still **** but why improve the odds if the deal is done

There's no way a £50m player will fail a medical. However, it could just be not getting it done in time that could hinder the deal.

If Liverpool pay way over the odds in a panic to get Torres' replacement, then find out Torres isn't going anywhere anyway, it'll seem a bit of a blunder on their parts. Of course the fans would accept having both...
