How long has he been out for? Don't think it's been too long so hopefully with 5 days training he could be in contention to play vs Chelsea at the weekend.

Yep. However it's reported that Carroll didn't actually ask to leave, he was told he was going and had no choice.

Find it hard to believe that he'd hand in a transfer request and give up £m's if that was the case though.

Blackpool have signed Kornilenko on loan until the end of the season and Conor Samon joins Wigan.

SSN also reporting Carroll could play Sunday - I wish they would make their minds up.

If SSN are to be believed, he gave them a thumbs up and said "I'm sorted", so certainly sounds like he might have gone somewhere. Then again when interviewed a couple of hours ago Redknapp said he wasnt buying anyone , then again again, that is Redknapp
