Doesn't sound like someone happy with where they are, having said that he wont get year after year of Champions League with City
I wouldnt bet on it to be fair - while throwing money at the squad hasnt worked so far (convincingly), it will eventually, and they only need to qualify once to attract the really premium players (or like Dzenko on the verge of the big time) before they cement one of the places for CL
Arsenal, Man Utd arent as convincing as they have been previously (in the EPL) let alone the 4th place (which in itself is challanging to keep along with staying in the CL past the group stage, as Spurs are finding out)
Not knocking Spurs at all, they are doing very well (and the £££ City have already splashed is hard to compete with in its own right) but they arent close to nailing on 4th place by any means either, with some disappointing EPL performances
Utd will have to introduce a few new faces in the next season or two (whether from within the Utd ranks , EPL faces or totally new to the EPL) and that could destabailise an unconvinving /inconsistant away performances before they settle in
Arsenal are always a quandry at the best of times - some brilliant performances/results and then when you think they have a nailed on win coming up they just dont turn up for a myriad of reasons
I would love to see Spurs consistantly in the group stages of the CL year after year, but I think it will be a shock to the system after Xmas with crunch game after crunch game one after another in several comps and with Mancini reportedly having £50m to spend in Jan (practically gaurenteed he will spend it if the story is true of course), they are the most at risk this season at any rate with the other three not that far ahead either
