And had a £18m bid for Remy turned down by Marseilles, supposedly. Wasn't it last January that Spurs bid for every forward in Europe?
Hugo Rodallega on the way to Spurs so might sign straight after the game tonight.

Not sure really this is a good move, one goal this season hardly prolific?

Reportedly he turned down a move to Fulham, preferring to leave on a free in the summer.

And would Spurs sign both Rodallega and Saha?

I've been saying this gif for about 3 years now...what a day!!!

:D

You know times are hard at Everton when they sign Gibson and a striker that wanted to join their great rivals and their supporters are still happy :p

Jelavic has signed... Saha has joined Spurs... this day can only get better by beating City later!

I won't believe this until I see him in a Spurs shirt, at White Hart Lane.

If true it smacks of desperation, and if the Rodallega rumour is also true, it certainly sounds like Defoe and Pav are on their way. It just doesn't make sense!

Is Saha a done deal or just made up twitter garbage? He would be a downgrade from pav and that says it all. Would be a typical Harry signing though, might as well make it a double swoop and buy phil neville

Not sure how these would fit in the current side. I'd rather the effort made to get Chris Samba in and let Bassong go..

I can understand why you would want them as both Rodallega and Saha are better at playing the Adebayor role than either Defoe or Pav. But for you to sign both, at least one of Defoe or Pav would have to leave, I'd assume. If you're playing one up front and VdV behind then 4 strikers is a lot, 5 is just pointless.

Phil McNulty @philmcnulty

Saha lined up for 18-month deal at Spurs - and still plenty of whispers about Steven Pienaar returning to Everton. #bbcfootball

Tony Barrett @TonyBarretTimes

Saha has agreed an 18 month deal with Spurs. Their physio is going to be busy.

I could understand shipping out Pav and getting Rodallega, but not Saha. Goes against everything Daniel Levy stands for. Old, injury prone, useless, and I bet he's not on low wages.

Either they are replacing Defoe and Pav with cheaper alternatives to free up cash for Adebayor / another first choice striker. Or things aren't good with cash so they are looking at Rodallega as a cheap Adebayor and Saha as a cheap backup striker / extra option as the mins run down.

Adam Johnson to Everton is trending on Twitter.

Arsenal fans been hyping about Ryo for ages now, maybe able to catch a glimpse of him finally...
