I hate Harry talking about Tevez yet again. He was one of the first to spout off about ex city players turning in their graves when he refused to play. Now he's after the ****.

Hopefully he will go there and cause him as much grief.

Several journo's on twitter have all got wind that sources in Argentina say we've bid 30m for Gaitan

Only thing left for that story is for it to show up on Tribal Football :D

That said Young has been extremely average since signing (as I suspected he would be) so maybe another winger isn't as absurd as it sounds

Donovan is confirmed to be coming back to us for 2 months in January!!! :D :D

Had to look it up, which isn't easy but I seemed to remember Evertons form pre Donovan being woeful, with Donovan being awesome and dropping off a little afterwards. He was great in the prem league, Everton were hugely better, of 10 games he played you won 6, drew and lost 2 a piece. Considering you'd won 4 against crap teams in the whole first half of the season and managed to beat Utd, Chelsea and draw with Arsenal.

Everton could certainly do with him right now.

Its hilarious, though personally I, grr, I almost want Spurs to win the league just to beat City with Tevez involved as it would be epic. But then Spurs win the league, how about City come third, Spurs clinch second with Tevez scoring crucial goals and anyone else comes first :p

Then of course the season after Tevez screws up Spurs completely just to teach Redknapp a lesson ;)

So DM's an Arsenal supporter than constantly criticises Arsenal and wants Spurs to win the Leauge? :D
(as I suspected he would be)

Only before the stories linking you with Young gathered any momentum. You then gradually came around to the idea and within 10 minutes of him signing, the prospect of him and Nani playing together was droolworthy and Young was in actualy fact a £30m player :p

should have stuck with my initial gut feeling then shouldn't I ;)

(in my defence) We might as well of stuck with Nani on the left and Valencia on the right for all the interchange there's been on the wings since Young signed. Even when he's had a rubbish game (which is all but 2 of his appearances) he hasn't been switched over the right to see if that improves his form.

Signs are Valencia is coming into a bit of form now so if it's only a kick up the arse Young needs hopefully this will do it.

Anyway enough about me how's the Downing & Carroll partnership working out :p

Is that meant to be 'about me' then? :p

The partnership hasn't really had much of a chance to be honest; one of the other has been out of the side a fair bit. As for them individually, both have played well in patches but have lacked the end product needed. In defense of Downing though, he's had some rotten luck; he's hit the woodwork more than any player in the league and has been robbed of several assist because of poor finishing. He needs to involve himself in games more though.

He's always been **** quite why anyone thought he would be different at Liverpool I just don't get. I watched him a lot at Boro at home and he never even shone that much in that team. He is drivel, at least that adam bloke looked good in a naff side.

They can't be a manager in the league that's wasted as much money on pure average as dagleish this year.

Downing was Villa's player of the year last season and was actually pretty good ;)

Not really sure what Young's up to at the moment, I still think he's a quality player but no one in the United side has actually played well since right at the start of the season so I think it's harsh to rule him out as rubbish or overpriced.

Doesn't help that Fergie refused to play Berbalad so he's aiming at 2 ft tall Hernandez tbf.

We could have Peter Crouch waiting at the back post for all it matters if his cross doesn't beat the first defender though

The most disappointing thing for me has been his set piece play I figured if nothing else he'd improve us there but he really hasn't, I guess they just dont practise it enough in training so he's forgotten how to do it. He hasn't even taken a free kick since being at United despite scoring loads of them for Villa.
