Anyone with an ounce of pace is welcome in the Leeds team. He didn't do much in the Championship last year on loan but he's had some games for Spurs this season so hopefully he has improved.

Let's hope he's not another Livermore.
 
I hope not! You're a Leeds man aren't you? I'm not sure what's happened to us recently, I went to the game against reading and it was just depressing to watch. No creativity and no passion, the whole ground was silent. Yesterday's defeat was just the icing on the cake.

If you were in charge who would you want to bring in? I've heard rumours of beckford coming back....errr....we need somebody who will actually run at players and take a shot for once!

Hard to say really, I mean the defence is ****ing woeful, need's a complete overhaul. Annoyed we didn't go for Danny Wilson, he's gone to Blackpool. We need a LB, CB, CB and RB. Yet we're not getting anyone in. Our attacking options are good really, although Keogh is going back to Wolves soon so getting another striker in is a must, again someone with pace. I'd like Routledge on loan, he's doing nothing at QPR so why not? He's good in the Championship.

I didn't think I'd say this but we're missing Howson, the guy's been poor this season but without him we are bad in midfield, Clayton has gone off the boil now and Snoddy getting injured is the worst thing that could happen right now.

I'm not sure Grayson can motivate the players any more. There is talk of White and Becchio not playing again as they've annoyed him and the other players. White is disposable, he'll never be higher than the Championship anyway it's the fact we won't replace him.

He's very fast got a powerful shot aswell so he may score a screamer or knock someone in the crowd out. Not quite the finished article but could be decent for leeds in the championship.

Pacey, clever, good with both feet. He's not afraid to cut in with his weaker foot either. Seen him take players on the inside and outside with equal success.

It's a shame about becchio, on form he's brilliant but I haven't seen him on form for months.

He did but if the rumoured £10mill to sign him is true then Wenger should have a punt on that, he cant be any worse than Chamakh or Gervinho lol.

But seriously hes on some form at the moment for his team, scores plenty of goals and is a major player for the German national team.

But for us our main priority is getting some defensive cover in as the Vermaelen is out for at leats 2 games...we are increasingly being linked with Bridge on a loan deal and Wenger has said that it would be stupid if we dropped points due to our lack of a decent leftback.

I'm still a little bit undecided on Henry coming back.

Feels a little bit like a backwards move, when ideally, Wenger should be looking at bringing in a long term, younger attacking player, like Podolski.

There's obviously gonna be a buzz about his return, and hopefully he'll give the club a lift and chip in with a goal or two but I have this horrible feeling he'll pick up an injury because of over trying. He doesn't have the legs for the Premiership anymore. He does still have his brain, and no doubt he can still finish, so maybe he'll do a bit of a Henrik Larrson at utd a few seasons back. Guess we'll just have to wait and see ;)
 
Getting a bit worried about the fullback situation now as that is our best 5 fullbacks all injured, reminds me a bit of this time 6 years ago when we had to resort to playing our 8th choice LB (Flamini)!
Realistically the number of potential LBs who would be:

1) Available on loan
2) Good enough to play for Arsenal

is not very high, I'm just worried about Wayne Bridge following the horrorshow at West Ham last year, but I can't think of any alternatives.

Will be interesting to see how Frimpong gets on at Wolves, a very combative player with a lot of energy so could suit them, hopefully the player will benefit too from getting more gametime in the way that Wilshere did at Bolton a couple of years back.
 
Song went on loan to Charlton a few years back and that worked out well from what I can remember. I think Frimpong can be a big player for us in the next few seasons.

I don't think we'll buy a full back. Not worth spending money when in a few months we should have all of them fit again.

Probably end up getting Bridge on loan. Unfortunately. :(
