I thought you meant he had connections to the mafia. Your father being on the UEFA committee isn't going to stop you waking up with a horses head on your pillow.
 
Also president of the Bulgarian Football Union. Apart from that Nikolay has settled considerably for the past year i think. Haven't heard him doing anything stupid recently :)

I'm guessing you're Bulgarian?

I haven't followed him since Liverpool sold him but I was slightly disappointed we did. He looked like he was going to be a very good keeper. I assume his off field problems and passport problems (I'm pretty sure that although Bulgaria were in the EU, they still needed special permission to work here, which he didn't get), we chose to let him go.

Yeah, Catania chairman has said they're out of it, it's out of us and Fiorentina (who just sold Gilardino). It's nice the players we are linked with since Jol though, especially up front. Beats Healy, Kamara, Carew..to Maxi Lopez, Hoarau, Gignac etc. Not a bad step up at least :p
 
Dembele, Ruiz and Dempsey are absolutely class, love watching them play, especially Dembele who is going to go on to big things, I think Zamora is off in January so the links are probably accurate.

I asked about Ruiz and Dembele yesterday. I agree, I like both very much. Dembele especially looks very much an Arsenal type player.

Jol has got the makings of a very good front line if he can keep hold of all 3
 
Yeah, would absolutely love Dembele on one of our wings, I think him or Hoilett would be great for us. I can't see either happening unfortunately. Ruiz is so similar to Berbatov, unbelievable technique and despite how lax he looks, he's surprisingly direct
 
Sky sources claim Liverpool are very interested in signing Darren Bent. Prepare to have you career go AWOL for a year or two Darren if you go there :p
 
hopefully neither will leave us. gibson looks set though, well, stone rumours at least.

lets hope someone comes and takes saha for £1mil and we sign a profilic 3rd div striker from estonia for £5 and a everton 3rd kit.

bent would smash them in for liverpool, he'd be far more effective than carroll is. i wonder if spurs would get a sign on fee (again)?
