:D

I want Modric at OT :(

I think we should really give Cleverely the chance this year, Anderson too. But for the times it's not working i want someone better than Carrick to take over haha.

Anderson has had his chances while Cleverley has been out injured - and dismally failed.

Reasonable squad player, but not one to be relied upon imo (occasionally he can have a stunning game - but if he was ever going to be consistant he would have proven it by now)

Carrick is still better than Fletcher unfortunately - not much maybe, but definitely better

Fergie /Gill wont pay the amount required to get Modric to OT, its just never going to happen (could see him being amongst the top two or three EPL transfers to date) not to mention he is considerably older than majority of Utd's latest transfers and right on the self imposed age limit for transfers at OT - limit being 27 from everything I have read

Anderson is fine. But having one good midfielder and one young up and comer is just not enough for any top level team, let alone title contenders.

No need to sugarcoat it, Anderson is rubbish, he looks like a fat round baby running about the pitch and has feet like blocks of concrete

Anderson just needs regular games, he's played very well this season, especially with Cleverley. Saying he's rubbish just makes you look really stupid, someone like Gibson is rubbish. It seems on here sometimes that if you aren't world class the only other option is to be rubbish. I remember a few seasons back everyone was calling Nani rubbish, saying he'd never make it as a United player and that we should sell him. Look what regular football did for him. I still say if we get a quality DM alongside him and play them REGULARLY, not switch the partnership every flipping game as Fergie does, then he can still be a quality player for us.

If we do go for anyone it certainly wont be a RB or AM. We have two great RB's and 2 top AM's.

Can see someone like Del Piero coming in as 4th choice/coach.

Then there are plenty of players running out of contract, in particular Hoilett/Adler/De Rossi?/Cahill and a few others.

Didn't Man city say they had intestest in Dani Alves, Hamsik and Hulk during the summer transfrer window?

What if they go for Wesley and pay him more than what he gets an Inter? That would be a huge fu to man utd.

Read in the paper today that Real Madrid want Wilshire. Really?

Still think Man Utd need a RB, CM/AM and a new striker. As good as Chico is, he isn't someone that should start games, he is like Ole... and the way Rooney plays, we need someone else upfront. Berba is a class act, but I think we could do better.

If they won't pay what Fab is worth why the hell would they pay 34m for a player that only shines every 3-4 games? I mean, how consistant has Bale really been?

Bale would fit into Barca how? They already have Sanchez/Pedro/Villa to play in those areas.

I thought all manyoo fans rated Anderson.

In fact, isn't it just me that has always said he's cack?

Yes just you. in your ivory tower of cack players.

He is a good player but as ive stated many times, the rest of our midfield is simply one dimensional. Throw in some quality defensive players who can play football and it would be very different.

At the end of the day, Chicharito was a bargain striker, he is very fast, can finish and.. thats about it.

He isnt an Aguero who is going to get the ball and decimate teams, if you play hernandez clean through chances are he will score. If you give him the ball to his feet on the half way line the chances are he will lose the ball or something else.

Thats the difference between what we have and what city have.

I've been very vocal over the years, ever since I saw him for the first time and realised he has very little control over a football.

Him and Ryan Babel. I have a good record

I also remember when United fans said he was better than Fabregas, but that's not exactly strange come to think about it as he plays for United.

I don't think he's a bad player, but I don't think he is good enough to be playing for the Champions. Mid table+ would be good for him IMO.

Well, that doesn't seem to be true does it? Two other members here have supported my stance.

perhaps but in a unique twist of circumstance it becomes a question of which particular members made those comments- if they were united fans, well then they aren't now because it is impossible for a united fan to criticize united and remain a fan. rendering them into a limbo of uncertainty.

we have never seen him play with a world class partner through the middle and in this instance is behind only nani and young as our highest point scoring midfielder this season - being our highest scoring central midfielder out of the bunch.

so if you say that anderson is bad then it makes the rest of them pretty darn terrible afterall, everything is relative.

DON'T LOOK - oops i just passed...

...to the opposition.

That he's one of the best midfielders isn't a big thing, when you take into account that Carrick is probably the most complete midfielder they have and no-one at all seems to rate him.
