I can confirm that Brazillian playmaker Wilian (of Shakhtar Donetsk) has been subject of a €30 million bid from Chelsea.

Interesting... that's a lot of money!

What a bunch of jokers. If he is worth half that I would be amazed. Good player but 150 million is taking the pee.

I am a Spurs fan, and no way is he worth £150m lol. As you say, he's a very good player and will fit right into any team, but that's just nuts.

I remember about 3 seasons or so ago bale was absolute ****, his record was everygame he played in Spurs lost.

He was playing as a left back then though. Amazing transformation since moving forward. Has always surprised me that something similar wasn't tried with Glen Johnson.

do people HAVE to be so literal.

When you don't want to sell a player, you DO NOT put a realistic price tag on a player. If Spurs would listen to offers they'd say, well you'd say 50-60mil and probably accept 30mil(in this overhyped, stupid prices, one big transfer a window fee's).

when you don't want to encourage bids AT ALL, you say a stupid fee, he could have said 150mil, or said 1 billion dollars while doing that Dr Evil finger to the side of his mouth thing.

KD coming out saying we don't need improving is slightly worrying.

He was quite damning yesterday. Saying that there were players yesterday that will not be wearing a red shirt for much longer if they continue with those kind of performances.

Could be an interesting couple of weeks.

Obligatory post defeat post:

Out:
Almunia, Fabianski, Diaby, Walcott, Squillaci, Gervinho, Gibbs, Chamakh, Mannone, Denilson, Vela, Arshavin, Bendtner, Rosicky

That gutting, burning of deadwood, would leave Arsenal extremely light on the books. We might get £50m for the lot of them and save at a guestimate £650k a week in wages. Hell I don't think anyone would disagree with me in saying that they all pretty much deserve to go. Thus a few players would be needed. A decent goalkeeper to challenge Wojciech (akin to the way Lindegaard is keeping de Gea out). A solid defensive left back. Jan Vertonghen. Eden Hazard for the left and an out and out striker.

That would be 15 absolutely mediocre players going and 5 or 6 players coming in. Even if they were all £100k/week we would save £5m a year estimate. It would free up squad space for Miquel and Yennaris and hell, Ryo Miyaichi might finally get a game.
