Good to see Wenger burning up the transfer market as expected.

LOL when has he ever burned up the transfer market...thats more for the likes of City and Chelsea;).

Fact is Wenger isnt going to buy anyone because most of our injury prone players are meant to be back in the next few weeks...great but its only a matter of time before one or a few of them are carrying a sicknote again:p

To be fair who has spent money this window? Newcastle are the highest spenders and AFAIK that's on one player. There's simply no value in the market :p

if theres no mad rush in this window and no one spends any cash, next yr they will do away with the transfer window and leave it open all yr to get the papers talking.

As in the banter thread, looks like the had been back in training Wilshire who was only a couple weeks away from a first team appearance, has ankle pain out of no where again...... if it comes back another stress fracture I think Wenger will panic buy someone again as he's too ruddy stupid to have foreseen an Arsenal player not back from injury without a delay and looked for a replacement ready to buy if things went wrong.

PRoblem being, aside from Wilshire we don't have anyone good enough coming back from injury. Sagna is an improvement on Djourou, sure, but not actually good enough, none of our left backs are good enough.

Tummy, you heard anything about Bodde going to Sheff Weds on loan?

Swansea guy right? Megson was after him when he was at Bolton.

Would like to see him come to the club but I've heard the only deal we'll get at the moment is a loan. Personally could be a good move if it's loan with a view to make it permanent.

Yeah from Swansea. He's only going out on loan to get fit as he's been injured for just about 2 seasons. He was the best player at the club when he was fit and I'm sure he'd be good enough for the prem if he gets fit and as good as he was before. He's a real asset if you play with wingers as his passing is pin point.

EDIT:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytphIGzc0W0 not the best vid, but there aint a lot around.

Would be pleased to get him in on loan, always a bit of a worry with players coming back to first team football after a long lay off which is why a loan with a view to a permanent deal would be good.

It's tough because if he doesn't play well or is injured, then you give him back, but if he is that good then we are going to want him back.

I wonder if there is any truth in the rumours that if Manchester City win the League Tevez's wage doubles as do his bonuses?

I'd be very surprised if wages would double (even consider it is MC we are talking about) but certainly a big bonus could be coming his way.

Considering he's waived his wages at the moment, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference does it, DON't get 200K or DON'T get 400k, £0 either way ;)

Would be quite funny if true and he decided to not leave in summer but start turning up for training again to make a crapload of money.
