Hold the back page, Wigan signing a player
Nicky Maynard
WHO?
Martinez getting ready for the drop, no doubt.
I really don't think Martinez is the problem at Wigan to be fair, would be a shame if he was sacked.

Sky Sports understands Birmingham winger Jean Beausejour having a medical at Wigan. #WAFC #BCFC
What like Jason Scotland, he was an amazing player. 32 games 1 Goal![]()
Now Wigan have Conor Sammon 21 games 1 goal![]()
Buy Championship players, end up in the Championship.
srs might as well be in championship with these sorts of players.
Hmmm just heard on SSN that PSG have ended all interest in Tevez...oh dear looks like Tevez wont be playing football for some time then unless some team comes in from him at the last minute.
Tevez turned down PSG because Kia wont get his bung from Galliani. It's all very good putting it like that but its pretty simple, PSG put in an offer, I think had it accepted and Tevez turned them down and has said he wants to go to AC, who are apparently back in.
City turned down AC's offer as they were hoping for more and better offers.
Problem is, the player has to actually accept the deal so he still has all the power.
City should have taken AC's offer and played it out in the press that they took an offer worth more than a trouble maker is worth. Now they'll likely accept a lower offer from AC than from PSG and everyone will know Tevez got what he wanted.
We're (norwich) doing quite well with our set of champ and below derived players![]()
Well we are trying to, Nedum, NDJ and Tevez are his players and we are trying with the exception of NDJ to get rid although his future isn't secure.Yes, and the quickest way to get rid of Kia, is to get rid of his players, how exactly do you think it will be different if he stays 6 months and Kia sorts out the transfer next transfer window?
The reasoning for where he wants to go is irrelevant, though AC milan are FAR more established than PSG and with or without all the money, south american players tend to prefer to live in Italy/Spain over anywhere else in Europe, France isn't at all bad, but not awesome either.
I'd choose Milan over PSG right now and apparently so will Tevez. ULtimately Kia still works for Tevez and if he wanted to go PSG he would.
If Tevez is on 200-250k a week now, thats another half season you'll be keeping him to spite Kia, and another few million less he is worth due to contract length and the obvious desperation, so thats 5mil in wages, and another few mil in transfer fee you'll lose out by waiting.
City would be mental to wait any longer, considering all the detailed plans people link to for City becoming financially stable, another 7-8 mil dropped to spite Kia, while also dragging the Kia/Tevez/transfer saga another 6 months is ridiculous, not least because again, it keeps Kia involved yet again.
It wont last, Wigan finished 10th in the first ever season in the top flight.
All joking aside, that's a bargain, he isn't that bad. He just wasn't good enough to play regularly for united, so he never had a chance to develop out on the pitch.
450k... I'd say that's a steal.
Apparently, Bernado Corradi seen at Carrington today![]()
Possibly just there to watch or possibly on a short term 6 month deal.
Its a good deal for everton, thse scots like to stick together..
Maybe it also buys us a first shot at rodwell or something else who knows?
City's firm belief is that a deal is being brokered behind the scenes. Tevez and Joorabchian were photographed dining with Galliani in Brazil this month and Mubarak's annoyance was barely concealed as he talked of the way Internazionale and Paris St-Germain had "approached discussions [for Tevez's transfer] with us in good faith and it is always a positive experience to deal with people with a professional approach".
