Arsenal to sign*Thomas Eisfeld 19 year old from Dortmund, rumored to be having a medical at the moment. I guess this will be confirmed shortly anyway as the window is nearly shut. Pitty its not Gotze! Ah well another young talent cause this is what we need! 6 goals in 12 games... Maybe he will replace rosickynote
 
Billy Sharp having medical at Southamption, pretty decent partnership him and Lambert, not sure if it will work though? He was a flop the last time he had a big transfer fee next to his name.

D Cisse off to QPR too apparently.
 
We've agreed a fee of 500k for Manolas from AEK Athens... but it's on hold... because we might not have enough money left over if we buy Jelavic.

It is unclear who he has joined, his agent has been tweeting all day saying he is signing for the best team in the world and the future is red etc so it all points towards it really.

Shame as he looked ok in pre season and has been playing well at EDS/Reserve level. He is 20 now and is going to struggle to get in the team now so i guess it's best he moves on but to utd :/
 
Fulham rumours for the day:

'Set to sign' Lucas Barrios from Dortmund.
'Set to sign' Pavel Pogrebnyak from Stuttgart.
'Set to sign' Hugo Rodallega from Wigan with Andy Johnson the other way - although rumorus AJ won't move up to Wigan (no surprise!).

Would LOVE Barrios, though!

The reserves at United is going to be a real step down from the Elite Development Squad!!!!! 11111! 1! 11 :p
 
God tomorrow is going to make this the busiest transfer window for incoming players since like... well I can't remember, years!!!

Sharps release clause was £1.75m leaked by big fat sam last month (and Doncaster's chairman) ;)

Him and Lambert should be the winning combination, Lambert at the moment is playing as the big holding forward and we have been crying out for a quick, intelligent player just to get on the end of anything going goalward.

Sharp makes the 3rd person to full such a role (with Tandari Lee apparently being good for it but he's not fit yet and Puncheon back) but should slot right in as a key goal scorer.

Apparently he also turned down more money from Leicester to come to Southampton which is nice :) (at a guess though not being 1 of 7 strikers at the man city of the champ had something to do with it)

Billy Sharp and quick is a new one :p

He's an out an out 5 yard finisher player, will get onto all crosses and score the odd spectacular goal. Can't see him getting onto many flick ons from the big fella up front, that's why I wasn't sure it will work that well.

He maybe replacing Lambert?!!!

Not at all.

Gibson, Donovan, Jelavic, Manolos, and apparently another. Which could be Rodallega or Vossen.


Problem is that if we do get in at least 2 more players then some one will be going in the summer, most probably Rodwell. But the fax machine will most likely break tomorrow! :D :D
