Marca reporting aspas to Valencia a possible move. I would even take a 50% hit on the price.

Not fussed if we lost him providing we got some one in that is proven and will do well this time. I'd still say we need a better left back and midfielder before another striker though i think we need all three

He's been injured but when he's played he has been dire. Both sides of defence and a cm would be on my list for jan. We should also put in a £30 mil bid for mata.

I would go for a defensive partner for Sahko (bed him in and their partnership before next season), a CM and attacking player.

Wb's can be bought in the summer

How do Manyoo fans feel about the possibility of losing Vidic, Ferdinand and Evra in the summer? (Possibly even Rooney!)

http://www.theguardian.com/football...ager-david-moyes-credentials-champions-league

Obviously the first three are not in their prime, but that experience is important, no? But, with their contracts running out, could they be tempted to move on? Eg. Evra to Monaco, or something.

Then there's someone like Rooney who'll be going into the last year of his contract come the summer... do you fear losing him for a fee this summer, rather than losing him for nothing the year after? Either of those Rooney scenarios shirley being pretty bad for Manyoo.

Evra and Ferdinand won't be great losses. Our 'winners' in the dressing room clearly don't help much, do they. They've both been fairly poor for a while now and show no signs of improvement.

Vidic is a more important figure but has had injury problems and not been great recently.

The above 3 can be replaced, arguably with people far better. Rooney can't. There's no other player like Rooney and he's massively underrated, especially for us. Tying him to a new contract is critical. I can see a few reasons for him to leave at the moment though, but nobody would offer enough for us to sell him, especially with one year left on his contract, so we'll have him for a while yet at least (and in that time things will hopefully be improving).

I can see Evra moving on, if nothing else because MU have been actively pursuing a replacement (Baines, Contraeoaoaoauauaoaoaoa) and being French he may fancy the coin over there (Tax changes notwithstanding).

Rio - injury problems and not featuring that much under Moyes BUT he did play first 6 games of the season... the way I see it he probably wants to stay at MU and have one more season, also his wages and injury record of late may put off prospective suitors. But equally he seems to be fairly diverse in terms of stuff off the pitch, so he may call time on his career in the summer and go and do something random.

Vidic is a tricky one, they will want to keep him no question but potential lack of CL football could see him move on and get one last payday somewhere. I could even see him signing a precontract somewhere maybe.

Rooney who knows, not so critical as he has another year after this one on his contract, I think if MU qualify for the CL and spend big before next season then he'd sign another bumper deal as long as he's getting over £1m/month.

We're being linked to Garay now as well - as usual. I think we probably do have an interest in him and I think he's quite good.

Lamela seems to be struggling badly. I know he was highly rated but so far he seems pretty crap.

He's barely played at all tbh, i only seen him play in Europa League then i seen him play in a 4-4-2 which just doesn't suit him. He is a 4-3-3 player it's where he excels and under AVB the whole team was crap so the management are not really doing enough to get the best out of imo. On top of all that he is still 21 and just went to a new league where it is completely different to Serie A.

We could be about to get RVP'd by Rooney and all through mismanagement. Quite disheartening.

We've signed...

(NYSE:MANU) Manchester United Football Club has today announced a multi-season sponsorship agreement with international spirits brand Aperol, to become the Club's Official Global Spirits Partner.

Well, I need a drink after most of our games recently so perhaps we'll get a discount.

Edit: an apparently reliable Portuguese journalist thinks we've signed Garay but he isn't joining until June. Think we've signed him a few times over the past few years. :p

Wolfsburg say that a deal is yet to be done with Chelsea for Kevin de Bruyne and talks are continuing.

Ermmm... lol?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...on-over-extraordinary-clause-for-concern.html

Morrison’s £18 million release clause has already been made public, but there is a second clause about which the relegation-threatened Hammers are far more nervous.

West Ham have to quadruple Morrison’s wages to keep him at the club if they receive a £10 million offer for the midfielder.

Morrison earns around £15,000 a week and the clause states that he will be entitled to a pay rise to £60,000 a week if West Ham receive a £10 million bid and want to keep him.

Someone needs to bid £10m for a laugh.

Ashley Barnes joins Burnley. Sad to see him go. very genuine player who always gave 100%. Undisclosed, but almost certainly around 750k.

Leeds have completed the signings of Cameron Stewart and Jimmy Kebe on loan. Kebe to the end of the season, Stewart on a 93-day emergency loan apparently.

Any ideas who they will switch their attention to after losing out on Barnes?
