Liverpool Football Club and Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc. today announced a multi-year partnership, which sees the iconic American brand break into the Barclays Premier League.

This new partnership will see Dunkin' Brands enter the UK's top-flight football league and Reds fans will benefit from this relationship as Dunkin' look to expand their businesses into new territories.

Dunkin' Brands is the parent company for both Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins and together they will bring fans closer to the club through innovative promotions and activity across the globe.

"We're delighted to be joining forces with Dunkin' Brands, one of the world's most iconic names. Dunkin' Donuts will be our official coffee, tea and bakery provider, and Baskin-Robbins will be our official ice cream provider - we welcome both to the LFC family," said Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer at Liverpool FC.

"Fans across the globe will benefit from this partnership as Dunkin' Brands look to expand their business in locations including the UK and Asia, bringing exciting partnership activation to new territories and ultimately helping to bring fans closer to the club no matter how far away from Anfield they live."

John Costello, president of global marketing and innovation for Dunkin' Brands, commented: "With 18 English league titles and five European Cups, Liverpool FC is one of the world's most renowned football clubs, so we're very excited to partner with them as we continue to grow our two winning brands, Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, around the world.

"We look forward to working with Liverpool FC on a number of exciting marketing initiatives and engaging with football fans worldwide in the coming years through this partnership."

Dunkin' Brands currently has more than 18,000 points of distribution in nearly 60 countries worldwide, including nearly 11,000 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in 33 countries and more than 7,250 Baskin-Robbins shops in nearly 50 countries.

In 2013, Dunkin' Brands opened 790 new restaurants around the world, with 415 of these restaurants located outside the USA.

So it's ok for people to say there was someone with no evidence but not ok for me to speculate there wasn't. Again tell me who was available or you think would have come? Give me a name of someone from the european elite who you might think would have joined?

Best you don't speculate on anything again in this thread, unless it's ok for you only?

I'm not sure you're fully understanding Danny. You've 'claimed' that there was not a single major European manager available who would have joined United. A quite hilarious statement with not one single piece of evidence. When someone has dared to suggest that maybe there might be a flaw in your statement, you've asked them to list the managers that were available (A pretty stupid suggestion, why the **** would we be privy to the inner thinkings of the managers in Europe like you claim to be?)

Another link from the same time frame with Mourinho saying yet again he wants to manage Utd

sorry the Telegraph link doesnt work any more, but it was certainly working earlier

Whether you want to believe it or not is another matter, but JM went through a phase a few years ago (09/10/11) about wanting to manage Man Utd, mentioning that club specifically in a lot of interviews.

Of course, now he is back with a national rival he is saying completely different things. Only to be expected.

Is that it?
You've linked to snippets of two interviews and in neither of those does he say he's desperate to manage Man.U.
He said he would consider going there if asked and said it would be a great challenge for him but Liverpool isn't, he was asked questions and was answering them, he didn't just bring Man.U. up.
He also mentions Spurs, Everton & Arsenal, do you think he was desperate to manage them too?
Quite how you read any of that as "he was desperate to follow SAF" or "he would love to manage Man Utd." is odd.

SorryvI cant go back in time just for you but as has been proven by the telegraph today articles continue to go offlline despite Google' s best efforts

Whether you want to admit or not a few years ago the wonderful Jose was desperate to follow SAF and manage Man Utd

You are either being incredibly awkward or you have a very short memory ( and I would put a bet on the convenience of the latter) , but he made a point in a huge amoumt of interviews ( and for the record Im not talking about the same interview being requoted) of specifically wanting to manage Utd, mentioning them by name

Edit - and yes it was direct quotes, not editors suggesting what was said in the past tense

Looks like Falcao is rumored to going back to Spain.

Peter Lim will attempt to sign Radamel Falcao this summer if his bid to take ownership of Valencia is successful.

Mundo Deportivo claims the Singaporean businessman will signal his intention of turning Los Che into an equivalent of Manchester City and Chelsea by bringing former Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao back to Spain from Monaco.

Manchester United winger Luis Nani is another player Lim will stump up the money for. Both players are represented by Jorge Mendes, the agent who introduced Lim to current Valencia president Amadeo Salva.

The fate of Lim’s attempt to take over Valencia is to be decided by Bankia on Wednesday. A €50m investment has been promised by Lim this month should the deal be given the go-ahead.

Take Nani now if you want, we won't mind. Better seeing him play then be wasted at UTD. Too much talent to be sitting on the bench.

Sky Deutschland reporting that Kevin De Bruyne is having his medical at Wolfsburg having agreed a five-and-a-half-year contract.

We just sold Adam El-Abd to Bristol City:(...last of the old-guard has gone now. Sad to see him go. He obviously isn't good enough to start at this level, but still a very popular player.

Any chance of linking to any of those many quotes directly from him that will prove he was desperate to manage Man.U?

Here's how I see it.

Mourinho has a huge ego.
Probably the biggest ego of any manager I have seen in Football, in the last few years.
He wants to manage only the biggest clubs in the World.
He wants to win the biggest leagues in the World.
He wants to win the biggest trophies in the World.
He wants to work with the best players in the World.
He believes he is the best manager in the World and with his track record, who would argue?

Given the above, are you seriously telling me that he wouldnt want to manage Manchester United?

A manager of his ego, would absolutely want to manage the biggest/best clubs in the World. Much like if you believe you are the best player in the World, you want to play for the biggest/best club in the World.

Yup. See the line in bold.

He's been moaning enough about the Chelsea squad. He'd have seen that Utd squad and run a mile.

It has nothing to do with my choice of memory, you simply haven't provided any proof of what you claim.
I'm suggesting the reason you being unable to find any proof is that he has never said he was desperate to follow Fergie.

Nope, I'm not telling you anything.
He may well have managed them if he was asked, who knows, I'm telling Frank that he has never said he was desperate to manage them.
