*January Transfer Window 2014/15 Season Rumours/Signings*

1 goal less than the current media darling Kane, playing for Burnley of course. Mooted fee of 3 mill. Could be a good bit o business as a replacement for Lambert/Borini.

If the Ings deal goes through, Liverpool at the very least will line up next season with;

Sturridge
Origi
Ings

..so, who out of those below will join them?

Balotelli
Lambert
Borini

and will we get another top level forward in? i.e. Benzema, Lacazette, etc.

For me, Ill be disappointed if any of the bottom three are still with the club next season, but i'll also be surprised if we manage to push them all out of the door.

This is my concern with signing Ings. On one hand you can say he'll be an upgrade on Borini or Lambert but we need more than that. Like you I can't see us shifting all 3 of Balotelli, Borini and Lambert which will almost certainly rule out us signing another striker on top of Ings.

Sturridge, Origi, Ings + 1 of the other 3 leaves us gambling on Sturridge's fitness again and we all know how that's worked this season.

Indeed, and if you asked me which out of those three I would keep, it would be Borini, whereas Rodgers seems to want him gone first. I can only hope we've seen the error of our ways and take knock down deals just to move all three on.

I'd be with Rodgers on that. All Borini offers is energy and if it came to it, you can always use Sterling up top again.

Lambert as a 4th choice and something different is fine for me. He has his uses occasionally. Borini offers nothing that we don't already have.

Cuadrado on his way:

Juan Cuadrado has signed for Chelsea, Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has told a press conference in Italy.

He was at Fiorentina's training ground on Friday saying his goodbyes to Montella and his team-mates ahead of completing his £26.8million move to Chelsea, with Mohamed Salah set to move the other way on loan.

'It was a sale that had to be done,' said Montella.'The club has done the right thing because we are also getting a very good player.'

looks like lennon could move to hull on loan with a view to a permanent move for £7m. for £7m we may aswell keep him as a squad player.

“It has always been the plan that Christian Atsu will be an important player for us in the second-half of the season and so it was great to see him doing so well and his man-of-the-match award against South Africa,”

LOL yeah the plan was always for the 2nd half of the season.

Everyone's important when you are fighting not dropping into the bottom three. If he plays Barkley as a winger I will happily turn a blind eye while Costa stamps on his head Gears of War style.

When was he ever 'club hero'? He was only ever signed as back-up. He's only played as much as he has because of injuries to others.

When he was at Southampton, I thought that much would have been blindingly obvious to not need stating explicitly, seemingly not :p
