*January Transfer Window 2014/15 Season Rumours/Signings*

Chelsea offered West Ham £5m and Remy for Enner Valencia !

Why would West ham want to take a bloke with a dodgy ticker and wonky knee for Valencia witht the potential he has. I do hope we say no.

I don't think Wham will have to say no as it's probably not true.

Recent high profile players who have failed medicals include.........

(direct quote from the 1st paragraph)

so yes players do fail medicals (and it has nothing to do with "marks", as such, which Baz was the first to bring up) - but they are still called medical EXAMS for that reason.

Lots of jobs have medicals, whether its the armed services, firefighters/police etc - it may not be officially descibed as "failing" if they discover something in the exam that doesnt allow the role /contract to be formerly offered , but you still wont get the position you applied for.

I guess you could say no-one ever fails a job interview either - but if you arent offered the job, 99.9% of people will still consider it failing. Its just political correctness in extreme to call it anything else

I'm not even sure why you're still arguing about failing medicals

Nobody said players can't fail medicals. Loki gave his 'interesting fact' which for some reason you responded with some random nonsense about Remy and Liverpool. The only thing you've been questioned about was that :/

What's this? A transfer rumour?

Sky sources tell us that former Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi is in talks with Crystal Palace.

Palace seem to be collecting goal-shy strikers.

Several sources (including Di Marzio) are now reporting that Chelsea have paid the release fee (or very close to it) for Cuadrado. Either £25m or £26.1m depending on the source.

He should be a good addition - very fast and hard working. Not too dissimilar to Willian. Certainly a "Mourinho" type of player.

Now, the question is - who will leave? Hopefully it's Salah rather than Schurrle, but Andre's complete absence from the last three games is slightly disconcerting.

Reports this morning saying that Schurrle is to be let go. I expect that both will be walking out of the door.

I've still been holding out a faint, fool's hope that we could use Schurrle as an incentive for a Reus deal. Seems ever more unlikely though.

I had real hopes for Schurrle this season - when he's on form he can be fantastic, but he's had far too many wasted chances, and a few instances of sloppy defending. It would be good to get another attack-minded winger in though.

Lots of reports coming out of Brazil (and now some in England) that Anderson is going to Internacional, permanently. €3.5m being quoted but he may also be allowed to go on a free, I can't see us being able to demand actual money for him.

Thank the lord.

Jack Cork off to Swansea allegedly, shame but with Ward-Prowse and Reed we can't guarantee him first team football or suitable wages for a new contract.
