*January Transfer Window 2014/15 Season Rumours/Signings*

Not quite a transfer nor official but all the journo's that follow Liverpool are reporting that Coutinho's signed a new deal until 2020.

When, not if, he starts scoring he's going to be something incredibly special. Fantastic news - just need Sterling's deal to be sorted now.

yep. lennon could give you a big boost.

Am sad to see him go. Better than Townsend and about even with Lamela. I would have liked to have seen Poch worm with him.

We have no pace in our attack now...we also don't have any out and out right wingers...

Was quite painful to watch SSN tonight as they desperately tried to make it seem like players signing new contracts and going on loan to league one clubs was worth an entire news channel devoting a whole night to!

How on earth did Chelsea get that much for Schurrle?

Where did Wolfsburg get all that cash from too?

V confused.

German clubs pay a premium for German players if they want them just like English clubs and English players.

Cuadrado signs:

The 26-year-old has joined on a four-and-a-half-year contract, and will wear the number 23 shirt.

Upon signing, he said: ‘I am very happy and thankful for this opportunity I’ve been given. This is a great club and honestly it is like a dream to join the Chelsea family and to know that the manager believes in me. I’m happy.’

The attacking midfielder arrives at Stamford Bridge after five-and-a-half years in Italy, first with Udinese before switching to Fiorentina in 2012 after a loan spell at Lecce.

Cuadrado plays predominantly behind a striker, but he is also comfortable on either flank. Pacy and agile, he is a purposeful attacking threat with an eye for the spectacular.

The Colombian, who has 37 international caps and five goals, was a key figure in his country’s impressive 2014 World Cup campaign. He scored in a group-stage victory against Japan before ending the tournament at the quarter-final stage with four assists, a record equalled only by World Cup winner Toni Kroos.

Utterly depressing window for Utd

a back up gk with questionable fitness (but at least he was free)

two unknown defenders (one promising French teenager, who probably wont be seen in the 1st team for a few years), if reports are correct and a 22 year old British lad on loan from Bolton

but at least Janko and Lingard have been loaned out in the hope of getting regular 1st team games (Lingard signing a new long term contract too).

At least Utd got rid of the waste of space back to Brazil , and glad for Fletcher that he got a deal with West Brom to hopefully get regular game time too.

SAF's last signing cost the club a reported £7m (about the amount Bebe cost the club come to think of it lol) after Zaha sealed a permanent move back to CP.

Hopefully get rid of Nani and probably two of Smalling/Jones/Evans and possibly even Rafael over the summer as well as Lindegaard I would have thought.

At least the squad is slimmed down considerably from the summer (trying to find positives:()

Looks like Bertrand's fee was around £10m. Good deal for both parties I suppose - especially Southampton given his form this year.

Another profitable transfer window for Chelsea. Fingers crossed for some big spending in the summer.

Utterly depressing window for Utd
The January transfer window is often dull -- there simply aren't that many top players available unless a club is looking for a quick injection of cash, or the player was already surplus to requirements. What I take away from this window is that we've made a start on clearing out the deadwood which will make it easier for us to sign our targets in the summer.
