Travel Morrison released on a free transfer.
How many clubs has he had now? Seems like he's trouble. Or an ego the size of Everest. Possibly both.

I thought he signed for Lazio but the transfer will go through in summer when his contract expires. Can he just sign now? I'm sure clubs can still buy players on free transfer.

Not free transfers, only when a player isn't currently attached to a club.

Morrison has been an absolute turd in training the last year. Attitude is a joke and his 'agent' doesnt care as he is micky mouse and he gets his cut.
I am not Allardyce's biggest fan but he was spot on saying he needs a decent agent who could try and help reign him in a bit. He will be screwed at Lazio by Xmas.

Obviously you couldn't follow that I have (100's of) work colleagues sitting on "investor" calls like this all year round. It is their job to know what organisations / who also gets invited to attend such calls
(despite the fact I have inadvertently sat on those same calls while doing my own job around the buildings in canary wharf)

He really is getting better and better.
It's great news and whilst it doesn't really mean he's going to stay for the duration it means if anyone does want to buy him they'll have to pay an absolute fortune for him.
He seems really happy too, in his personal/family life as well as professional so hopefully he will stay long term and if his development continues the way it has been he will become genuine World Class, whatever that is
Without taking anything away from him, because he's clearly an excellent player, I don't think he influences games enough for a player of his ability. Costa and Fabregas seem to have joined and instantly become the 2 key attacking players. He needs to become more ruthless to take his game on to the next level.
