January Transfer Window 2017/18

Ok this all stems from Di Marzio, who does have sources but isn't great by any means (I know Baz hates him :p).

Could easily be the agent trying to force City's hand.

The likes of Simon Stone etc should be in contact with the club and we'll see what they say later.

A couple of Guardian journalists and Balague have backed up the story too.

LOL man utd fans getting happy sanchez will be going no where near utd

Its a ploy to get city to stump up more cash for him believing utd are in for him, pretty standard agent tactics

Well Sanchez could go to a club guaranteed to win the league and have good prospects in the league.

Or go to man u and play dour football passing to Lukaku who will consistently head the ball over the bar from 6 yards out.

Tough cho8ce tbh

I remember posts almost identical to this about RvP. :p

RvP is surely just another reason why Sanchez to Utd is so unlikely. However unlikely it might be, Utd aren't a million miles ahead of Arsenal - the last thing Wenger needs is selling Sanchez to Utd and seeing him score a load of goals and Utd have a great end to the season in the same way RvP helped Utd kick on. City are already miles ahead of the pack and it won't appear like Arsenal have strengthened City as it would if they sold to anybody else.

It is Arsenal after all, they are unpredictable and self destructive. I'm not convinced by any of the reports yet, hopefully there's something later...

Like matic too.

There are only so many 29 year olds you can buy for big bucks.

Bale could be a disaster too being 28 and having such an injury record and a fee in excess of 50m.

Sturridge has supposedly asked Liverpool to be able to leave the club this window to boost his World Cup chances and we're asking for £30m :D

£30m for a player that's physically broken will be a tough sell. About a month ago he was out for a couple of days and he's only just started training again - same story with his last 5 injuries.

We won't get anything meaningful for him which is why it won't make sense to sell. Better off keeping him for the 5-6 games he'll be fit for than accepting £5m.

Injuries really have taken their toll on him. I'm not sure if it's physical or whether he's just scared to but he won't sprint any more - I've lost count of the amount of times he's given up on through balls that even the slowest players should be able to get on the end of.

I really don't understand that price tag. He's one step away from being taken out back and shot so I would've thought getting him off the wage bill would've sufficed.
