January Transfer Window 2017/18

Why are arsenal fans surprised and angry about Sanchez? They seem to be calling him a mercenary because he doesn’t want to spend the last years of his career at the top level playing for a team with 0 ambition. Arsenal have lost almost every top player they have had in the past decade for this reason.

Tbh I’m not angry or surprised about the impending transfer to Utd. I’m just glad that at some point it will be done and we won’t have to deal with his disruptive influence in the team.

You are right though, Arsenal are a team with zero ambition and that stems from the owner right down to Wenger in all honesty. So I’m surprised that the likes of Auba and Mhiki would consider coming to Arsenal because as I said we don’t have any ambition to win a title or any trophies etc. Well maybe now and again we go hard for the FA Cup but that’s about it.

If I am angry??, well not angry but disappointed is that I and many of my friends feel that Sanchez hasn’t shown us any loyalty. No one really wanted him when he was rotting on the bench for Barca and we came along and took him. But meh maybe I expected too much. So that’s where I’m disappointed in him. But then not many players show any loyalty these days.

I’ll just be glad when the whole Sanchez saga will be done and dusted.

Would the Man U fans on here be annoyed with Mikhi if he refused to move to Arsenal and collapsed the deal or would they accept its his choice?

It would be annoying as he’s anonymous for us. I’m not going to be feeling sympathy for a load of multi-millionaires playing football.

Seems there will be no new developments today, according to Ornstein at the BBC. Arsenal still sorting out Mkhitaryan, so no debuts this weekend.

Not really, if he doesn’t want to move then that’s his choice. You can’t blame him for a deal breaking down for another player.

I think he would suit arsenal and their play though. On his day he is a fantastic player and it’s a shame he couldn’t perform consistently for us.

Aubamayang to arsenal about to be confirmed apparently

60 million

10mill salary till 2021
Sauce?

What the hell is Emmanuel Petit talking about, saying we should be aiming higher than Aubameyang. He is one of the best strikers in the world, how could we, a club in our position, possibly aim higher than PEA?

From what I last read, the Sanchez deal to Utd doesn’t hinge on Mikhi coming to us. It would just be a straight cash deal from what I read the other day.
But then who knows what’s going on really.

I guess from what Wenger said yesterday that if the deal for Sanchez isn’t concluded by today then he will put Sanchez in our squad for the weekend. Silly if he does as not many arsenal players want him around now due to his petulance.
