January Transfer Window 2017/18

I can't imagine any other set of fans being happier than united fans, except maybe city.

They're getting a proven premier league goalscorer and it's not exactly like united are strapped for cash. If it was Liverpool/Spurs signing someone on those wages I could understand but it's United.

Only disappointment is that we've already played them at the emirates, would've loved to see the reception Alexis got and it would no doubt add to the intensity of the game.

Just more pressure to win the league, paying those kind of wages and not winning the league would be embarrassing.

I don't think the pressure has ever eased since the last win.

Also I'm not sure how any team could be embarrassed to finish behind City given they way they play.

Two seasons back he was sensational. Since the Bayern games he has been off the boil.

Well paying five players 350k a week either cries desperation or guaranteeing success! I guess we will see next season..
 
I was speaking hypothetically, we'll have Pogba and Sanchez as the two top earners come the summer (when Zlatan likely goes). De Gea may need to match them if Real Madrid come in...

We could have 5 players on 350k without a problem, we don't at the moment. Remember we recently got Rooney off the books too.

Is Sanchez really going to get the blame for Arsenal's woes? Arsenal have been like this for the past decade, permanently destabilised.

And you'll possibly have Aubameyang soon, who has caused Dortmund a lot of trouble, far more than Sanchez did for Arsenal.
