January Transfer Window

I want to know what they doing with all the money,

Repaying the "service" on the debt is counting for the most /all of it unfortunately - but as many articles point out, the fact we are pretty successful, the banks will always lend us money until we stop being a success (with whats reportedly a complete sell out every home game)

Have chelsea lost the plot paying £15 mil for anelka ? is he past his best and will struggle to make an impact in the champions league ? or have they simply had no choice and have gotten the best they can get that is available.

What has Drogba said to make people think he's off? If Chelsea had any sense they'd keep him, as he and Anelka could potentially be a savage partnership together.

£15m is probably about the right price for him imo, but with Henry at £14m and Bent at £16m, who knows what a good price is any more! Those three are in the wrong order, and far too close.

I think we should put a end to this and just buy the world tbh.

:p

Slightly off topic but thought I would point out that United came second to Real Madrid in the table, making Real Madrid the richest club in the World for the 2nd successive year for turnover, but thats a minor detail.

As for Anelka to Chelsea, he will be a good signing and his pace will suit Chelsea's attacking game nicely, I just hope he has an off day at the weekend as I thought Chelsea would be there for the taking with all their injuries/suspensions and players at the ACoN.
