John Terry... you rat!

He's done something wrong, did he expect anything less?

Who's to blame for the dressing room "problems" Terry for doing things or the papers for telling people?

Terry being England captain, high profile footballer shouldn't of expected anything less then this, he's daft if he expected to get away with this.

Footballers are hardly known for their high IQ ratings so I'd very much doubt he even considered the future.

Like I said the act is not condonable but why do we feel the need to continue to attack? He's lost the captaincy, what else do we want?

Beckham was captain for a while, no one remember Rebecca Loos then?

I don't like Chelsea (dunno why, just a chemical reaction) but Terry seems like a decent enough captain to me. With the country in the state it's in I don't really think the general public are in a position to stand on principal.
 
No this country is ran by the government. FACT.

Footballers shouldn't be able to get away with acting like this, maybe this will highlight how they can't expect to get away with things without consequences on the pitch.

It's tough on Terry but he shouldn't of being so daft.

Beckham and the Loo's thing was never proven iirc?

Terry has taken money on the side for Club and Country, and slept with a players ex possibly causing a rift in the dressing room.
 
John Terry scores the winning goal in the WC Finals The Daily Mail will act like it was on his side all the time, its how they work.

Its like Football meats Heat magazine, its annoyed me this keeps going on. Let the people involved sort it out and let them worry about playing football.

Indeed, thats a touch harsh.

Like I've said all along, I personally would not have taken the captaincy from him for this (mind you I wouldnt have had him as captain anyway as I prefer midfielders as captains). Having said that, I dont think this "scandal" will damage our chances at the WC all that much, footballers have often shown in the past that once they are on the pitch they tend to focus on that and largely ignore "external" stuff
 
Well I thought this thread would be on fire today after seeing the Notw ads on TV about more shocking Terry revelations being revealed in their rag today.
Nobody got anything to say about them as I wouldn't spend my hard earned on such expensive bog paper ;)

Your first allegation is just paper rumours* & you've no idea whether Bridge (did he dump her cos she was a slapper?) or any other players are really bothered.

*I heard about an article in the press the other day that had it's headline along the lines of 'JT sold his Wembley box' or something, but further down in the article (in the small print if you like) it said that JT didn't even know it had been sold.

It's his box? I'm sorry but he should know whats happening with it, there is a difference between him saying "yeah you can use the box no problems" and between him "not knowing" about "yeah you can use it if you give me XXXX for it" which probably came through a friend, could be the same one that helped show people round training. *just a thought about his friend*

She got around a bit, if rumors are to be believe. (she's had a few of the Chelsea squad) but deoes that some how make it okay?

Terry was stupid, he put his relationship with team mates in the national side at risk, friends at the club and his home life? All for a bit of skirt?

Everyone in this country knows that the media will jump at any opportunity to tear you apart, why give them the chance?

Again, completely different situation because Rebecca Loos wasn't the partner of a teammate.

If it was just a case of him having an affair, it would be a scandal of course but it wouldn't come to this. Plenty of sportsmen have affairs and (aside from a bit of bad press) 'get a way with it' because they are just porking some random bird and it wouldn't disrupt the dressing room.
 
I love how the press tell us that our chances of winning the World Cup are in ruins, and that the England team are broken.

Seriously did we have a chance to start with? Do me a favour! I never fancy our chances anyway of winning the world cup. Our players hardly ever get time to practice together, and then we all crowd around them chanting Three Lions and cheer them on like they are a team, I'd say they are not far from being strangers to each other.

I don't care where John (the ****) Terry has placed his willy, he is a total spanner anyway and I thought that way before all this press interest. Move on you money making newspapers.

Please just practice more together 'team England' and lets concentrate on what is ahead.
