It's almost like because the 1st one was so good and the 'wrong people' enjoyed it they had to make another version that appealed to the other set of people and the result is a ******* mess with none of what made the 1st one so good.

I might go and see it, but I'm hearing it's really bad from people who really liked Joker

The first one worked well because it was meant to be a once off with a good script and acting. Why on earth would they reinvent the formula?? Lots of friends who watched it said it's disappointing.
