Freefaller said:I doubt many people invent jokes. Most people adapt situations in a comedic way to suit their environment or particular event. From there "jokes" have no doubt stemmed into what they are today.
I for one know I haven't really come up with any jokes, however I have been known to be pretty good at making off the cuff comments in a "spur of the moment" sort of way - invariably this ends up being funnier than a whole patter of a joke.

Years ago, sometime back in the 1980s, I went to lunch and when I came back into the office, one of the managers said: "What's it like outside?"
I said: "It's really big!"

Man walks into a bakers and asks for a doughnut
The woman says what type would you like
At this point he accidently touches the hot glass on the counter and shouts "Agghhh Suger!"
The woman says "Ok ok no need to shout thats 25p please"
I was about 7 remember so don't hurt me....

gord said:Me and my mate DID make up those two jokes. Its undergone some development i see, youve changed the identity to Suzie.
They were originally developed by us on our way home from school on a fine summers day, when heat and boredom got the better of our immaturity and we made up the most stupid funny jokes we could. It was a boy who got hit by a fridge and just a girl who fell off the swing.. none of this specific name rubbish.. keep it applicable to all.. keep it funny!

older than the refrigerator too?divine_madness said:You lie, they are all older than time itself![]()
