I'm sure if someone had to tickle the underarm we'd realise pretty quickly that they weren't glued at all.Is it just me that would get an overwhelming compulsion to push them over and rip the superglue off.

The more it goes on and the more they appear to be targetting paintings, art, expensive cars and now Rolex, the more I think this has nothing to do with oil and climate and more to do with just a basic jealousy of anyone who has wealth.Around 1:09... "People in fuel poverty need to choose between heating and eating, they need protected"
... He said while wearing a big "Just stop oil" t-shirt. They literally don't understand what they're protesting against.

Imagine holding so much hate like that. I cannot imagine the hatred that goes through their heads.
It doesn’t look good when one medium sized country stops trying though is it.The UK has done it's bit. We account for roughly 1% of all global CO2 emissions, our emissions are on a downward trend and any effort to reduce it further is utterly futile while China, America and India still pump out masses of the stuff.

They are protesting against the opening of new oil wells. They are targeting GLASS PROTECTED paintings as it gets their cause media attention. Why are these morons targeting paintings? Do they think Oil paintings use the same type of oil or something. Also, why waste food that could be put to better use feeding the hungry?
They're nothing more than environmental terrorists and they deserve to be treated as such.
These guys will be proved to be right in the future.
Just a shame that their message won’t get through, it’s clear the government don’t give a hoot about climate change and how we are making it worse.
Direct action is a fine way to protest. Can’t believe the outrage of those over a bit of paint or beans on some glass. There are thousands (millions?) of people at risk due to our inaction. That’s what you should be upset about.
Not to mention, stopping new oil wells is a pretty sensible thing to do when we could be moving to nuclear and renewables.
Rob doing his usual frothing and trying to make this a left v right thing. It’s not, it’s a human life thing.
Where are these new oil wells being opened? They are protesting against the opening of new oil wells.

“Well if the UK isn’t doing anything, we won’t do anything either!” is where that argument ends.
Haha. Which would be what? That's positively restrained compared to what I would do to these entitled brats
I would be very surprised if most of the biggest contributing nations give a damn what the UK does or does not do...we arent that importantIt doesn’t look good when one medium sized country stops trying though is it.

What about blocking fire engines and ambulances? Would you brush it aside if a loved one, that could've been saved in hospital, died in an ambulance? They are protesting against the opening of new oil wells. They are targeting GLASS PROTECTED paintings as it gets their cause media attention.
The governments inaction is causing much more harm, should they be treated as such? Why is your outrage pointed at those who want to try and improve things rather than those who cause the problems the government accept exist but do little to fix.
Probably too wet to catch lightUsing them for fuel would be a great start.
Nobody disagrees that we need to move on to more environmentally friendly energy supplies.
But at the moment that technology isn't available. Yes there are some energy methods that are more environmentally friendly. But these methods haven't gained the standard that we need them to be at before we can shut down our current supplies.
These environmentalists tend to be the typical reactionary people. They complain about something but offer no viable alternative. If they could they would shut off all the power right now that isn't from renewables. It would kill 100's of thousands of people. But they don't care. They don't care about a solution.
It's interesting that they never mention other countries causing the most pollution in the world, unless someone else suggests it to them. It shows they are small minded. If they were true to their cause they would realise that getting those other countries to reduce even a small bit would have a bigger impact than their activities in the UK.
