I think you missed my point completely. Posters here attack the left for undermining free speech yet those same people frothed for years over the delayed deportation of Abu Hamza. Ironically he was eventually arrested on charges including promoting the killing of non Muslims and inciting racial hatred - sound familiar?

Maybe it's more the case that some people are rankly hypocritical and only tolerate the bile they agree with.

I personally find the views of people like Hopkins far more dangerous as they are given media platforms that validate their opinions in the eyes of a much wider population.

You do know other people died in concentration camps, not just jews? Blacks, political enemies, other groups, gays, those with disabilities, etc

I can't help but feel that as long as she's not inciting people, that as a host of a phone in show it's her spiel to irritate people enough to call in. Whenever I caught her show on a Sunday it was good for a few laughs hearing how off the wall she is, and not to be taken seriously at all. I don't want to hear opinions I agree with all the time and listening to someone who probably has a selection of tin hats in her wardrobe was good for a laugh.

However, there's a line to be drawn about what she can get away with....the recent case where she's had to pay compensation and legal charges shows that she's not good at respecting it. The final solution tweet strikes me as poor wording rather than genuine intent.

No I disagree . She knew exactly what she meant and was saying when she used those words. She does it all the time. Carefully words things so they demand the highest amount of outrage and then changes the words saying oops sorry, I didn't mean that I meant this. It's tiresome. About time she got brought down a peg or two. Hopefully she will move to the states and just stick to Fox News now.

Whilst I dislike her immensely, she's no idiot (although at times she behaves like one). I just find it hard to comprehend how anyone could use those words with intent, and not expect a rather severe repurcussion. She's recently lost a court case as well as the right to appeal so I would have assumed that she'd at least be trying not to cause herself more grief.

No idea who she is never heard of her, just googled what happened.

To be fair she has a point, dropping a nuke or similar in a place or 2 in this world would certainly solve a few problems.

No she does not and the fact that you actually condone dropping a nuke somewhere is a disgusting and reprehensible comment to make. You say you have never heard of her but those comments are similar to what she would spout off.

We have seen bombing the crap out of certain places has no effect in solving any problems. If anything it makes things worse.

What annoys me is not what she says, but the fact that she has a platform. She's just a horrible creature. There are people far more deserving of being in the spotlight than her. She's just pathetic and vile.

Harsh, I would add Moscow, Tehran to the list and pretty much job done.

Not a workable solution though as the fallout would bazzinga the rest of the world up for a good few thousand years and our overlord cockroach masters would have us all in the mines.

Good riddance. My only comment is that I imagine her media persona is totally over hyped for the purposes of selling news or gaining social media clicks. Still totally abhorrent though.
