***kickstarter***

Wonder how it works though, does the time just automatically changes or is it something you have to keep twisting to show the correct time.

That is a really good point, by the looks of it you will have to twist it as the numbers are engraved along the ring and just have a LED to light the correct ones.

Yep was just reading on their own website and it seems like you have to twist the ring to get the right time etc.

Still interesting, i might get one as i like these sort of things.

Indiegogo was the original, but it's a terrible site, even worse for project creators. Far more projects final on indigogo and even successful projects make a lot less money.
I don't udpnderstand why as a project creator you would use it and I wish they didn't, as its nasty.

It's a good idea but somehow indiegogo manage to screw it up on their site, it's dire and Kickstarters isn't much better. What really surprised me is that Indiegogo don't promote your project if you fail to get to a certain level of pledge fairly quickly, the wife's project has but it was a bit touch and go.

Some t-shirts from the arkyd telescope project, only side rewards and only really wanted the revenge one for some geeky humour, but got the other one in a stretch goal.

Waiting for my Nava to turn up :)

Shame about customs charges :( havent been charged for any of my kickstarter ones so far.

Its insane for decades I've been caught maybe 1 in 15 parcels.
This makes the last 4 packages in a row to be caught. I think either customs have got far more strict, or companies use to lie a lot without asking and now aren't.
Going to have to rethink my shopping habits, used to get a high percentage from abroad. But eBay, amazon, kickstarter, they're all being caught.

Also get cash or your cheque book ready(or you can phone up and pay by card), they don't email you, they just turn up demanding money. No other parcel company does that. Ive always been emailed a bill and can pay online.

I'm stuggling to see any difference between this and the Camelbak Groove, besides some cosmetic differences. Got mine for £13. Am I missing something?

Lid for a start.
And its actually not expensive, other than the import taxes. Half of which is the parcels companies insane fee. Its only £19 so not much different than camelback. Lid is a must for me though.

And actually better value, when you take into account the filers. Even with the custom charges. £15 for two filters on the groove. i have 7 filters, thanks to backing a project.

Doubt we're be in for when it arrives anyway so guess we're be carded.

Ive had a few KS parcels come through without anything and when I look at the price they state its usually around $20 on the box so it skips. Maybe cause your not actually paying for the product but investing?

Waiting for the Sound band to get near to shipping :D

Fair enough, the filters are silly expensive on the Groove. It does have a lid though, the bite valve folds down so its flush with the carry hook, its not extended all the time.
