Kingdom Come: Deliverance / Open-World RPG / Medieval History

Traded in Pebbles for Al-Buraq last night, seems odd to have a white head in front of me but it means I can now gallop huge distances and carry a load more stuff.

Sad to see the old nag how though.

Does anyone know if the Avid Reader perk works, if so how?

I got it yesterday and when Henry went to sleep I thought the game would acknowledge it in some way but I got nothing.

Patch 1.4.3 will be released today 15:00 CET on all platforms! Sorry for the waiting. Major issues from 1.3 (consoles) and 1.4.2 (PC) should be fixed and consoles will get new hairstyles DLC and easter eggs and bonuses. Consoles will of course also get all previous bugfixes.

From Ole Danny

Finally, hopefully the horrible halberd bug that I saw many console players complain about will be fixed. That bug sounds horrible and terifying and like a nightmare to fix.

What's the horrible bug? The annoying one is the way you can't store or sell them, but I don't think that's a bug?

In 1.3 that is active on consoles there is a bug where the guards will drop their halberds at night to bring out torches and do not pick up the halberds, so after some time there are dozens/hundreds halberds in every town and the framerate goes dead because the engine still counts all the physics and all that... :D

It is crazy

I love this game but they really need to sort put the crime thing. I can assassinate some people without being seen but you magically lose reputation when you go to sleep and wake up again as they somehow know!

Also get loads of random crashes but didn't used to get them when the game came out.

Agreed - the all-seeing eye is very irritating. Impressively Orwellian for not even fourteen eighty-four.

I’ve had this game a while but not started it yet.

Any tips for the setup to get the best visual experience without loss of frame rate?

This game is mad, over 50 hours in and I am still thinking 'when I get good at *insert skill here*, I'll be able to do...'.

How often, after fifty hours are you still a beginner in a game? I love it! Or maybe I'm doing it wrong, either way, still loving it!

No, you're spot on, I love this aspect of the game, too many games get too easy too soon and hence boring.
Andi.

It seems tidying up your own litter gets you thrown in jail in Rattay.

Dropped my hat from my inventory, picked it up off the floor, and got stopped by a guard for theft.

(Please fix the retrieval of one's own things from chests and the floor making those items flagged as stolen)

dunno if it's a bug or deliberate, but I've found a chest that when I unlock it, I can't open it because it's locked, unlock it..sucess..but still locked. I don't know what's in the chest, but going round that loop for some minutes is a great way of leveling up on lockpicking. I'm now running up the back staircase of every building I find, to see if there are previous "this is too difficult to lockpick" locks that my skills can now open.

Some of the other skills seem pointless.

I have never bothered with pickpocketing, it appears to me that it's an un-necessary skill.

Once you are into the game a bit, buying potions is so easy, there is no point in the rig-ma-roll of gathering the bits, reading the books to get the right skill level and then farting about with the alchemy stations. It's a skill I have never once used.

Using grinding wheels and/or repair kits is also a castaway for me, just go to the right people and get the stuff repaired is so much easier.
