Korean Grand Prix 2011, Yeongam Circuit - Race 16/19

He said over the radio about 2/3rds of the race through if they'd given him the extra DF he wanted on the front. I'm sure they said they were at the maximum?

There didn't seem to be any visible damage to the front and there wasn't any contact? Must be something hidden that we can't see. Doesn't explain Button's lack of pace though compared to the bulls either?

both macca's seemed to be under steering loads, guess that's why they were slow. However, Fred struggled early on, perhaps the lack of dry running on friday scuppered things a bit?
:-)

There's speculation that it could be bits of rubber lodged in the wing causing the loss of front down force. I'm not convinced though as both cars struggled with the same problem and they were 'slow' from the 1st lap, by slow I mean in comparison to the pace everyone expected them to be doing.

Does seem strange though as the McLarens had been the fastest car all weekend prior to Sunday.

Agree
RB do seam to get an extra half second in race mode from somewhere even webber was faster then normal today.

a tad bias if you ask me - a great drive from LH even though he was only 2.6s ahead of JB, yet only "good drive" for the latter......

I guess I shouldnt be surprised

Oh ffs, give it a rest will you.

Lewis went side by side with Webber for half a lap without any contact, which is remarkable given his recent form, and then held him off for about 15 laps. While Button... Dropped back from Webber and then caught back up.

So yes, I think Lewis' drive overall was much better than Buttons.

Stop trying to start fights.

Forgot to post how great it is to see the Lotus cars getting very close to the midfield now and actually beating a team there. An impressive showing from Kovalainen!

Probaly just happy to be on the podium again but Lewis did seem very matey with horner and vettel, only smile I've seen on him all weekend.

Want Webber to do better in the next few races for my bets, which are for Button and Webber to finish top 3 in WDC.

Before webber got into that redbull he was a nobody an mid table driver at best, now with red bull it makes him competitive.
It's 99% about the car and RB is MILES faster.
