Kyle Rittenhouse - teen who shot three people in Kenosha

I've been the only person to take action in quite a few occasions wildman. I've helped 2 people in Leeds train station who were having seizures/fits, the first time I put a towel on the back of the guys head and applied pressure because he'd cracked it on the concrete and got someone to call an ambulance (there were dozens of people stood around doing NOTHING), the second time the blokes lips had gone blue while people were stood around like lemons, I put him in the recovery position so he could breath and waited for the paramedics, his head was back and his tongue was blocking his airway before I did that. I intervened in a fight at the local pub I used to work at where 2 blokes had pulled a T shirt over the head of one of the locals and were going to town on him while he wasn't able to defend himself, I got between them and pushed them away and blocked quite a few punches before they got thrown out, I stopped the guy getting his head kicked in. I intervened in an older bloke being attacked in a bus station and stopped it going any further. I'm really not one to sit around though I can see why you might assume that because most people will do nothing, they just expect someone else to do it, a lot of people like that in this thread.

Why? Did you read something I didn't type again? I wouldn't ever want to shoot anyone

in a full scale riot situation you will do nothing, everything you have described above is not even in the same league. I was caught up in the middle of the Bradford riots (was a student there at the time) and what you describe to have intervened in isn't even close to full scale public disorder.

I'm not sure what you took from the original post but it wasn't that I'd take on a large group of protesters on my own, I'm not stupid, but if there was large scale protesting by an antifa group or something and I had the option to join a group countering that then of course I would. I'm not trying to be a badass here, lots of people in America have defended business and property from protesters.

lots of people in America join those groups because their constitution allows them to roll around the streets with an AR-15 in tow. So i'll state it again no chance in hell you would join a group to go into a massive public disorder situation. You are just talking like the typical internet hardman / gangster. Have you ever been in a full on public disorder situation even in a group of people ?, and I don't mean a few burgers at dawn at the local kebab shop after a night on the tiles. I mean a full on out of control riot where the police are absent or can't take back control ? It's not just rocking up with some other "internet badasses" thinking you are judge dredd, it's real danger. So again your talk is cheap and yes, you do come across as just another "i am hard on the internet types", you clearly have no idea what you are talking about and no idea what being in the middle of a full scale uncontrolled public disorder event is like, when people are torching cars, chucking bricks at anyone they think is not "part of their crowd", throwing people through windows, etc.

I'm from Romford. Does that count?

I mean our gran parents landed on mine filled beaches against heavy machine guns but you're certain I definitely wouldn't join a group opposing violent protesters because they were throwing bricks and setting cars on fire. It's literally impossible to find anyone on the internet who might actually be willing to defend their home city against violence? I don't think I'd find myself in a minority in Leeds in that regard. I imagine in London, which is basically a city full of strangers, it might be different.

I stopped reading after that as you must know posting here that not all states allow guns.

And as for the Bradford riots.
It was just 2 days of stupid people on both sides having a little fight now and then.

I've been on Hurricane duty loads of times(loads do it).
Now that is a frighting thing to face. But fun at the same time :)

Imagine comparing the D Day landings to some nerdy incel with a walmart gun 'defending' a car dealership 20 miles from his house.

Absolute nonsense. Get me off this planet.

Would I fight in this country for war, probably. Would I go to defend Tesco if someone was trying to burn it down, probably no.

Cool strawman bro.

Presumably you'd defend your own place of work from a mob though, so you had a livelihood? Except if you didn't defend Tesco from the mob, why should the Tesco workers defend your place of work with you? See how it works?

60% of a very small number is still a small number ;)

And anyway, one cherry picked poll from a fake news outlet is hardly anything to base your assertion that "Certainly doesn't seem like blacks are buying the BLM crap" :p

It demonstrates a bit shift in attitude though, when you pick your VP your polls are supposed to go up, not down! Trump doesn't need to get a high proportion of the black vote to win, whereas democrats do. He doesn't need to win the popular vote either to win the electoral college.

But then this lad got up and started popping off shots at people - assuming he wasn't just firing over them as a warning.

According to the DA statement provided so far, he fired 4 shots in the first incident at the first victim - all hit, and 4 shots during the seconds incident with 2 in quick succession at the guy who kicked his head - both missed, 1 at the guy with the skateboard - hit, and 1 at the Pistol armed guy - hit. According to the DA he fired no more shots after that so all the other gunshots heard were from other people in the area, not the shooter, according to the prosecution.

DA statement here - https://www.mystateline.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/17/2020/08/Rittenhouse.pdf

I believe there are numerous reports of around an additional 12 Gunshots that can be heard through various videos etc which can't be matched to the shooter with only one gunshot (a handgun fired by a member of the crowd approx 2.5 seconds before the shooter fired his first rounds) that is 100% confirmed to have happened (caught on video), but for the rest it's still very circumstantial.

yes I am sure, because you are just another internet "I am hard" man. Unless you have actually been in a real full scale public disorder situation you really have no idea what the hell you are talkingabout. Anyway enjoy your internet epeen while it lasts.

All this hard man talk, its just your perception, it is not reality.

I haven't claimed to be a hardman you lunatic

I'd call the police and go home. I'm not Rambo, nor are you.

Why do you think the Police are some extraordinary power? They're just normal people with a bit more equipment and training, they're pretty fallible and have limited resources. There have been numerous occasions where citizens have had to protect their homes and businesses, I hope that doesn't happen, but don't assume sitting home and calling the Police is always going to be an option.

I'd like to remind you that 5 months ago a lot of people were stocking up on food because we were worried about food shortages, so please don't claim it's some ridiculous notion.

Okay so they have proper equipment and training, the two things you need to effectively protect something. Thanks for clarifying.
