Just got myself a pre order, been checking since 8am and left it a few hrs - thank god I didn't miss it. I know exactly what I'm in for with this display as I bought a 27GN950 from OC October last year. Beware of the build quality - the 27gn950 didn't even 6 months before developing a stuck pixel. Good thing OC are amazing with organising RMAs and issuing refunds, been sleeping under the proverbial bridge using a borrowed 1080p monitor waiting till I can get my hands on the 27GP950. These displays are absolute bang for your buck, with gorgeous design, just be aware that the build quality on some units will inevitably be poor.

That's terrible, doesn't LG have some form of guarantee?

DId you order or pre-order? I just pre-ordered 2, but unless something changed today since last week's updates I'm still looking at a 4 week wait give or take.
Order, they were listed with a number in stock this morning. I watched it go from 10+ down to 0 and into pre-order this afternoon.

Pre-order completed, can see the transaction is pending on my card, let's hope its not too long before it comes :)
First order with OC

Update:
Order Status: Order received - not yet shipped

same, be interesting to see what approximate date is given

I've spoken to support on the phone, in which they were very nice and explained that their date to receive them is the middle of July and will dispatch asap, they could come earlier but don't hold your breath
Thanks for the update, nice to have an estimated time frame so quickly after ordering

Gives me time to break the news to my wife lol

Very interesting, thanks fo the information, I just ordered one too, but yesterday I also order the Gigabyte Aorus M28U, now I don't know weather to cancel my order for it? Seems like the LG monitor will be a better monitor by the spec sheet, is it worth an extra £230 though?

I don't understand, just a few days ago Nik said in this very thread to abandon all hopes to see this monitor in stock before the mid July and today they just magically conjured 10+ in stock? Were these returns? Unlikely.
Do you see an estimated shipping date?

I've been watching this today, snagged an order at around 11:50 when it definitely said "in stock". Currently in Order received - not yet shipped but payment has been taken so it doesn't seem to be a preorder.
I'm curious to see what clarifying information might come out on here, but I ordered with the expectation that it'll take weeks to fulfill.

Who knows, I just happened to check and it said in stock, I placed the order... I've got a dispatch notification, so I will check again this evening to make sure that I get a delivery ID... But I'm expecting to receive it tomorrow.

Mine says order received - processing payment, not even sure what that means? I don't mind waiting either, but the sooner the better I guess.

So I'm more confused now.

They display as in stock, at which point many people order. It changes to pre-order aftr a while and now everyone is getting them in July.

Was the 'In stock' label just a temporary thing?

I just got my email confirming it’s preorder and that the item isn’t in stock. I’m just happy I got a pre order! ETA mid July
