Since segregating DisplayPort to one PC and HDMI to the other exclusively, I haven't had a single major issue with this monitor.
I've even put the power back on the extension strip (although I put it on a different strip to my gaming PC), no reported issues.
HDR on, 4k 144hz, extended freesync, faster response time.

I did disable the video sync lighting, that was causing some weird lag in some games regardless of FPS or other settings when running at 4k. I expect that some firmware updates later it'll resolve that issue but it's not a feature that I care so much about.

I'll open pre-orders around lunchtime tomorrow and keep open until I see we've reached more than our expected next intake. This isn't an exact science so please be patient and if I'm late I'll email everyone who is likely to miss out to see if they want to keep their pre-order or cancel.

We should receive 200 units this month (ETA is second week of August but waiting on confirmation from forwarder), with around 10% of those already reserved for those who missed out July.

I've been told to expect no more until October after this.

regarding the possible ETA, the second week of august ( as in next week?) or has the preorder listing on the site been updated to an ETA of 20th august? i hit buy so quickly that i didn't stop to read anything other than the price. im just curious but glad ive manged to pre order something which meets my needs.

Its been two weeks since I had a black screen and tonight I have had one so far. WHY is this so bloody random? In all my years with PCs this is the worst issue I have had to deal with!

I was getting a black screen roughly ever hour with Genshin Impact (60fps max) but since turning G-Sync off, it's never happened. Hopefully a firmware solution comes, but otherwise I've found my fix.

Seems a shame to turn a feature off for £800 monitor.

I had black screening during games, got fed up and returned both GP950s back to retailer and bought the 1440p version (27GP850) for £399 and not a single black screen!

For sure it's a shame, but priority for me was:
1. 4k res
2. High refresh rate
3. HDR Colour
4. HDR Brightness
5. G-Sync.

Losing G-Sync is a minor inconvenience given that no other monitor can answer the top 4 (4k, 160hz, 600+nit HDR) for under £1k.

Was the monitor set to run at 144hz or 160hz? (Guessing by 60fps max you capped the frame rate in the game settings)
