Trust me, he is getting wound up
Just seen that Currys have the 42" C2 for pre-order for £1299 instead of £1399. Doesn't have the free LG Tone though.

£1000 and I'd bite.
All depends on if my voucher code works. If not then no, I ain’t paying full price for it.
https://lgvirtualstudio-he.com/ces/tvs?category=OLED&product=C2Does anyone know the physical dimensions of the 42" and 48"?
I am torn now between 42c2 and aw3423dw.
LG will be more universal(consoles), but I worry a bit about the flicker. People using gsync in c1, do you notice any flicker in near black shades?
True, you can always run it in UW 3840x1600.Me too .
Can use the 42 for ps5, but 42 is 4k so will be harder to run for pc gaming.

However, I feel qd oled will be a bit better in everything else, including the fact it has gsync module so any near black flickering is out of the question
See for reference:Whats this talk of flickering on the 42 inch?
See my post before this one. Even flicker on the AW!Whats this talk of flickering on the 42 inch?
Probably just the gamma profile needs calibrating. My acer x35 and it's sibling asus pg35vq were flickering like crazy before firmware update. Fortunately with module, you can correct it because hardware functionality is there.Crazy thing is that the AW seems to flicker - even with the g-sync module!
Never thought that crap would be possible with the module!
"Flicker is there on the AW3423DW"
