Currently on to JL about a blue tint across the whole screen that's manifested itself over the last week or so. Really noticeable lack of vibrancy with the colours, all the usual troubleshooting tips followed to no avail.
Anyone experienced the same symptoms? I had a back light failure on an old LG but that it only affected part of the screen though the colours are strikingly similar

Luckily when I purchased it I specifically got it from John Lewis and got the protect plus which covers for screen burn for upto 5 years... been on the phone to them and they are booking a technician to come round and replace the screen with a new one
Thank God I got that cover as either would have had to live with it which would be annoying as hell considering i now can't not noticed it or would have had to lay out for a new 77" panel or alternatively buy a new set neither are things I want to particularly do at the minute
I kept intending to upgrade with something from work but haven't yet.
when I'm gaming etc it's impossible to notice its burnt in but will notice it when it's just one colour displayed on the screen or that bottom section atleast. Apart from it being burnt in i have been very happy with the TV which is why I have kept it and used it daily for nearly 5 years ... funny prior to noticing this i was eyeing up a G5 replacement as it now supports 165hz and panel technology has moved on quite a bit in these 5 years with regards to oled brightness etc but that comes at a heft price tag at £4500
