LG to Introduce 34-inch IPS 21:9 UltraWide (Model UM95) monitor

I understand that these things can happen and as you say, and I am sure they will resolve the issue. I just cant phone them right now as I don't want to upset anyone for just doing their job. I will phone later today probably. I think I should be compensated but a bag of haribo wont make me a happy punter. I cant see myself buying from overclockers in the future after this in truth.

The thing that has wound me up even more though is that the monitors numbers dont even match the box or the packaging. There are 3 different monitor codes, how has that happened?

Will try and chat with LG now to try and find out where these monitors have been and then call overclockers later. I will let you all know how it goes.
 
Does anyone here have any issue with Blizzard's games and the monitor? When ever I try to start a game, my screen goes black, then just turns off saying there's no signal.

You can hear the game music, but the monitor is off until I kill the game's process.

It happens to all of them. :(
In both OS X, and Windows.

So far all I managed was to add the line displaymode=0 to Heroes of the Storm and then I end up with a 1136x902 window and it saying this.

The variable doesn't work on any of their other games for me either, and their tech support doesn't have a clue. Although it seems other people with the LG 34UM95 have a similar issue with Blizzard's games.

you are over reacting. it's a mistake, call them and explain and they will sort it. if they dont, then you have something to really complain about. right now its just an inconvenience so treat it as such and call them.

I do apologise for this I have checked the images you have posted on the forum and quite clearly it is not a brand new screen which is certainly what you have paid for. Unfortunately this is not something I would be able to handle for you sir as you would need to speak to our returns team and explain that you have paid for a brand new monitor and received a b-grade item instead, they would organise a collection and get this replaced for a brand new monitor.

Im guessing a small discount isent a straight swap for the 97 model?
 
So have anyone tried DP 1.2 mode yet on a newer GFX card or with the latest drivers? I have not seen a single flicker or bug on the GTX980 since enabling it. Both AMD 290X and GTX 780 had the flicker.

Yeah definitely. Great service after the mistake. Sorry If I was all doom n gloom at the start.

They even said I could have a small discount again when I upgrade to broadwell next year. Top service. Think Im overclockers for life after this.
