LG to Introduce 34-inch IPS 21:9 UltraWide (Model UM95) monitor

Oh I've just found the Black Level on mine lol, it's set to High and it's greyed out, so another option controlled by the hardware LUT and calibration software.

I tried both black level settings but there is no difference on an all black screen.

I think the only way I will get it all black is with the monitor switched off completely :D

Will be interested to see what happens nexus

I don't know if it's worth me swapping my Dell ultrasharps for this
Sometimes I like that I have 2 monitors
Is hard to weigh up without having it

Wow that is bad - just had a look at my Dell 21:9 under similiar conditions and at either 50% or 60% brightness (can't remember which) its like 1/3rd as bad as your 20% one - same area of bleed at the bottom left but nothing noticeable at the top.

Welcome to the LCD Lottery, Stuck/Dead pixels and Backlight Bleed. :(

Yup :(

Why I am always so hesitant about buying anything related to displays :p :( Knowing my luck, I return this one and I'll get one with even worse back light bleed or/and dead pixels :p

I wouldn't get rid of a dual setup personally.

I am keeping my 19" samsung monitor.

Even with way more horizontal space, you still can't multi-task as well especially when playing games!

RMA sorted, monitor getting collected tomorrow so hopefully get the new one on Monday. Fingers crossed that it is perfect!

So far out of all the threads I've found, and on reddit you're one of two people with nasty backlight bleed. Although yours is by far the worst. Hope you get a perfect panel.

I'm so looking forward to getting one of these.
